I think a Siler-Spikes argument in a recruiting thread is beyond stupid. Make a new OP and I’ll join in.

Things are a lookin up!

Sorry, but another running back coming to UF to play in a running offense is not looking up to me. UF has good RBs and of course does need to keep bringing them in, but even McElwain had two good prospects committed this year.

What would be looking up to me is top OL, WRs, DL and LBs looking to consider UF, particularly the offensive guys in positions where opposing recruiters will say that UF's offense won't prepare then for the NFL.

Yeah your right. Lets tell him to hit the road and go play for FSU or Georgia.

It's a 2019 recruit. And if you spent some time reading through this thread, Mullen and staff are working hard to address the specific needs that you mention in your post. No reason to sh!t on the parade route.

I know it seems like we have a ton of RBs, but these kids get hurt, leave early or transfer... if 4/5 * RB is interested in being part of the 2019 class I am thrilled. Just having more top guys interested says a lot.

Any decent RB should leave after 3 years. They only have so much mileage

I am with both of you and I agree that it is good to have this interest. I just temper it with the understanding that this offense will attract RBs, it is other positions that will make me pleased with Mullen recruiting.

Besides, if they don't work out they can be converted to DB.. I know that's true 'cause I read it here!!

Concerning Watkins recruitment. He's trending to UF at 46%. Perhaps an indicator is that Greg Nord was his primary recruiter. I have no idea what coach is assigned to him, but he'd be a good get.

Considering the level of talent we’ve been recruiting the last few years, ANY 5 or 4* recruiting interest is a positive sign inside of the first 2 months on the job.

But thanks for bringing us all back to reality, Debbie D.

Agreed. I’m still pissed that we missed on Lingard. Best rb out of Florida since D. Cook. And he was favoring us early.
