I like it! Our players need to hear and believe that Mullen is confident. This will only help the buy-in process, and give these kids faith that the sacrifices they are making will pay big dividends on the field. Will it? I don't know... but it's better to work like hell now believing it will.

Didn't Urban call the semenholes the "school out west" before his first season? I can't remember for sure, but it's never too early to fire a shot across the bow. I like Mullen's boldness. He's won 2 championships here, so he's earned the right to be bold.

This is dumb. Uga for as much as I hate them just finished with the #2 class of all time and ran a train over Mullen last year. Its like Kiffin running his mouth to Meyer. Mullen has the WOAT record vs teams ranked. Win something then talk shyt. Meyer talked smack by blowing your doors off. SOS did it and backed it up. Mullen better back it up or he's going to make all of us gators look like fools. He got beat by South Alabama. Apparently he did the same thing at MSU but got his ass handed to him.

This isn't the same UGA that was under Richt, Goff and Donnan. If you guys think that youre delusional. It's like them saying Meyers offense would never work in the SEC. Keep your head in the sand. All that matters is what's happening now and we aren't at UGAs level and we won't be til we find another Meyer. Mullen isn't that guy. Wish he was but he chokes in big games like zook. He'll win 8-10 a year. You can go back 25+ years and they can go back to 1915-80s. Right now they are in way better shape than us. Thanks to Foley and now Stricklin dropping the ball.

Y'all really need to curb your nutswinging on the smack talk and prepare for a few years of Georgia running a train on us. It ain't going to be pretty.

Again **** GEORGIA! I definitely am not ready to concede anything to them. Simply put they won games on the backs of their senior running backs. Without those 2, that offense is not impressive. Pardon me if I’m not shaking in my Nikes over 7 5 star guys. To hell with the whole lot of them!

Someone stick a tampon in NV's mouth. He may die from the blood loss.

Anyone who is afraid of a Jim Cheney offense hasnt actually watched much college football, but being a west coaster, I always suspected NV was in that group.

Meyer didn’t. He came in guns blazing. Just like Spurrier

Big difference: Spurrier & Meyer both came when talented rosters were underperforming. Mullen has some good pieces, but the depth needed to sustain excellence will take time to rebuild. That doesn’t mean he can’t win, but he does have fewer checkers on the board for now.

Something like 17 returning starters and the sick offensive weapons we just snagged this off-season.....put me in the Georgia always falling on their face camp, Im looking forward to them having a 4-loss season and falling back to earth. The way their fans are running around you'd think they were Bama the last 5 years!

Mullen is saying he is going to compete. He did this at Mississippi State when he came in with guns blazing and referred to Ole Miss as "TSUN" "that school up north". He never mentioned Ole Miss by name. Where did he learn that from? We all remember "TSOW". Now State did not always get the best of Ole Miss and Freeze, but both of those programs competed at a higher level than they had before.

McElwain came into Gainesville with some attitude and we remember how he said he could win with his dog Clarabelle. So talking a good game doesn't always manifest itself to what actually happens on the field. In today's highly competitive game you can't show fear. You have to have some attitude. When Bear Bryant was dominating the SEC he used to poor mouth his team and program. He would say stuff like "I don't see how are little runts are going to stay on the same field with Shug Jordan's or Johnny Vaught's teams". He was using psychology. That was then and another time. Bryant was dominating and he could talk that way. The Bama fans loved that kind of talk back then. But that wouldn't work today.

Now it's about fighting for your place in the food chain. There are a lot of competitors. A coach has to show some fight to get recruits and energize his fan base. Whether Mullen will back up the talk with actual results on the field remains to be seen. But I think most of the fans like his strategy at this stage.

It’s not the confidence that I like. Mac had that.

It’s the fact that he is not kowtowing to any programs or coaches. Not even to Meyer. He went head-to-head with him for recruits.

Chump shared a fvking house with Jimbo. Both he and and Mac were constantly slurping Saban’s nuts. NEITHER of them got the dwag rivalry. Mac SMILED after getting curb stomped in that last game.
