As a top recruit you can come to sunny Florida where HOT coed girls wear bikinis and short shorts and tank tops with no bras AND you can play right away with the girls and on the field and become a star at UF!

That actually LOOKS nice. Pictures don't explain freezing in your car for 5-8 minutes while it warms up, walking some place and being afraid your eyes will freeze, your hands hurting, cracking and bleeding, scraping ice from your windows, wearing giant parkas and boots for six months of the year, not seeing the damn sun from october to may, all the brown slush, mud and brown dead leaves that are ever present after that fresh snow fall.

Enjoy Crackumbus and other points north, boys. There is a reason NO ONE retires TO the Midwest.

Yeah, I don't get it. I'm in DC and the winters SUCK! I can't imagine living in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Michigan for the winter. Snowbirds know what they're doing!!

The craziest part is the people from there think it is the greatest place in the world to live.

There is a reason the average woman up there weighs 25 lbs more than in Florida.

I live in the city and I can tell you that the women in the city are not fat...at all! That 25lbs is true for women in the burbs though!!! Go to Lincoln Park and you will see very fit people :)

Yeah, if you're itching to go play at Nebraska, you can go play under Frost. Literally.

I spent about a quarter of each year in NY from around 2002 to about 2012, so I've seen and "lived in" some of the worst conditions. But as a Floridian, I always said the winters weren't even the biggest issue. Snow's a problem to deal with at times, but I actually like the cold--for a defined period. To me, it was the random cold snaps and occasional snow that happened in April and even May that sucked the worst. The years where Spring was almost nonexistent and you only had a couple of months before it got cold again were what I really didn't like. And that was NY, which is tame compared to the midwest. The constant gray skies alone would be maddening.
