My father and stepmother have adopted five girls over time who were once fosters, one of whom is special needs. They took her to the Night to Shine in Panama City last night and apparently she had an absolute blast. Might be one of the best worldwide events there is.

For all of his success at UF, I think this is his true legacy. What a phenomenal impact. Started from one church. Looks what’s it has grown to now.

One of if not the best college football player I ever saw, but an even better human being. Someone posted the video from one of the late night shows where they talked about the prom night for special needs young folks. Incredible what that does for these kids. Had a guest in the audience, a young lady, who came onstage and shared a dance with Tim. It made her and her mother's evening. Tim doesn't have to do the good and charitable things he does...he wants to and it is his way of giving back and showing thanks for all of the blessings he's received. No doubt the world would be a better place if we all gave a little more in this regard and didn't look askance at those who do. Tim, you make me even more proud to be a Gator!

I totally agree, but there is much more they just don't get as much publicity.

Cover 2, you are so right. Tebow was one of the best college football players I've ever seen. He was a tremendous talent and an inspirational leader. But as a person, he exceeds his accomplishments as a player. How anyone can watch that clip with Jimmy Fallon and not get teary eyed is beyond me. So proud to call Timmy a Gator!

Cue snarky comment from Swonkey about Tebow's foundation doesn't make enough money or something like that...

Put the crackpipe down, daffy.

It obviously impedes your awareness of your surroundings.

When should there be "'nuff said". So little is mentioned of TTFoundation's Phillipine Orphanage and that Hospital. Much big, big work-support going on there. Tim uses himself as a conduit connecting great deeds to heretofore neglected people & areas.

On Wednesday, my wife and I were asked to be “dates” for our local event because so many adults were out sick. It was the first I have heard of this. We couldnt get our paperwork and background checks cleared in time, so we donated some money. But luckily.... we are already cleared for next year. We were told by some friends it was life changing. So, cant wait to help next year.

Good for you. Just a few hours of your time can change the trajectory of someone else’s life forever.

And the best part is that it is 100% real, not to get attention or anything else. He has been doing these sorts of things for a long time, he is just more famous and able to get money now. He did a lot when he was a player as well.
