Brantley, Driscoll and Franks... and we wonder why we're in a bad sports mood. :lol3:

I’ve also got my Jacoby Brissett for Heisman (Wolfpack edition) but on the lookout for the Gator version - it’s ultra rare!

Q

QB play at UF blasted through the bottom of the barrel sometime ago. It was last picked up on ground penetrating radar just about half way to China.
We are definitely at the bottom of the tr@sh barrel.

I still have my vintage Brantley for Heisman button. Wear them proudly as a set.
You need to take care with your tone when you're discussing the all-decade quarterback, the last Gator to pass for 2000 yards.

I’m just reminiscing about the last qb he recruited to Florida before he left for the promised land that is Mississippi State.

Tbh, I'm not super excited about this season. We've had so many lousy players at QB that would never have started anywhere else. Let's give Trask a chance too, why not.

Wouldn't surprise me if we started pulling guys from the bleachers to throw. I really wanted to see what Frank's could do with some good coaching.

Has the UF CFB program developed a dynasty of ineptitude ?
Consistency is the prime challenge; so has UF been consistent in faltering at recruiting? at coaching? How ?
What ? 90% of college offenses manage to rank better than 100. But not UF - that's ruinous consistency.
It seems to me that odds have to swing in our favor from here on. Many say Trask is an odd ?
This 2018 season has to be our "breakout" season - break out of our "against-all-odds" ineptitude.
The prime lever will have to be who & how QB is played. To foresee failure is to put us under the unlikelihood that our negative consistency will endure beyond belief.

Franks is going to start and play until he gets hurt. Mullen likes Franks a lot. He was comparing his physics ability to Cam before spring ball started. We will definitely see Trask this year. I don't think his shortcomings matter all that much in this offense. Mullen will cover it up by getting the ball out of both Franks and Trask's hands asap every snap. There's enough talent at the skill positions that can make up for having a slightly under average skill level qb. I'm not betting on Franks figuring it out all of a sudden and I'm not betting that Trask is a SEC caliber QB. Toney, Massey, Perine & Scarlett i think will get snaps at the wildcat qb spot with other backs and WRs taking the jet sweep/fake.
