So is the draft complete? If so did Nelly not get selected? I am not saying he is great but you would have thought someone would have selected him somewhere. He can hit a bit and has played in the outfiled (not much this year). I think he might still have shoulder issues. Perhaps he will sign as an undrafted FA or maybe return for his final year? Almost could have seen some team taking a flyer on Girand in the last round, just off the regionals performance, LOL, b/c that is about all he played all year.

Found it interesting that Luke Heimlich wasn’t selected. Good to see some offenses to decency and morals aren’t overcome by talent.

Will be interesting to see what Byrne does, but my guess is that Liput is gone. Maldanado should be back for his senior year, along with Langworthy, Dalton, Reese, Bell, Smith & Girand. That's a nice nucleus for next year's team, along with several freshman pitchers who got a lot of big game experience, plus getting original starting SS Brady McConnell back and a player many have forgotten - Garrett Milchin, who contributed last year at the plate and on the mound, but hasn't played at all this year due to injury.

I expect Byrne to sign. What is his upside? He is what he is. A consistent strike thrower who locates well and probably a 4th or 5th starter or middle relief if he makes it. He is never going to throw 95+ so i think he should go.
Do you have any info or where the Gator signees were drafted? I heard they had some pretty high picks which means the recruiting class will take a hit.

You serious, Clark? I did not know that, I just figured some team would take a late flyer on him and see what kind of backlash they got and then they could cut him. That brings some bad ju-ju to a team, guess nobody wanted any part of that.

Well, except Oregon State of course.
