Who was the worst Gator?

KJ is #1 no doubt. It has already been explained why. Kid was terrible.

Not sure what the issue the OP has with Dee Webb. I don't recall him whiffing on a lot of tackles. Now he dropped about 15 picks. He had no hands.

I would throw John Brantley, Treon Harris, Fred Johnson, Tyler Jordan, that OL transfer from Nebraska forgot his name, that FCS transfer OL that Derwin James punked and then benched like 4 reps at pro day (outweighs by probably 150 pounds and I can bench more than that), Nick Washington, and that about sums it up. Franks will rocket up to #2 but he still has a chance to change future.

Most overrated I would put Louichez Purifoy. I remember some friends leading up to the 2011 season talking about how all we got this all star DB. I thought they were talking about Jaylen Watkins. They said Purifoy. Then "experts" were gassin him up that summer. I was like "the f--k? Purifoy isn't that good." Never understood where that hype came from but it ended pretty quickly.

Matt Patchan. Another one to add to the list.

http://www.tampabay.com/sports/foot...ding-journey-lands-him-at-senior-bowl/2162619

He was always injured but somehow managed to play five seasons a Florida.

Got shot in the shoulder at a park in Brandon, Florida on a Friday night with the details being sort of sketchy.

Played his sixth season at Boston College under Steve Addazio.

Said "I was once a Florida Gator but I think I will be a BC Eagle forever". (see link)

Screw him.

I thought they were talking about Jaylen Watkins.
:lmao2:

He'd be on the list if he were an actual starter. Equally shytty at both coverage and run defense. He was a combine wonder though. He was pretty good at special teams (same as Purifoy, really).

If only he had gotten the good Watkins.

How are Ivey and Cece busts?
Ivey sucks, but he is at least useful on runs. I actually think he will excel in this offense. This year may make us forget the last. Mullinz loves pulling tackles (probably just bc it is odd and screws with reads). Notice Ivey doing it a bunch in the spring game. Just as long as we don't pass, he is fine.

CeCe? You can't blame CeCe for being forced play inside at 240-250 lbs. No one can play tackle at that weight. That was just stupidity by Butters & Co.

You didn't like Jaylen? He could play. Much better than Purifoy. And yeah I would have loved if he could brought in Sammy but then again what was Sammy going to do in our offense with our QB's.

Moosedump could have Randy Moss and not be able to utilize him properly. It doesn't matter who Moosedump has on offense they will always be underutilized.

Many, if not almost all are worthy of the distinction of being on this list. It may date myself and the program going back some years.....but

Kyle Morris

When thinking about him reminds me of Driskel other than the fact that Driskel got more playing time.

If by play you mean wander around in the general area of a receiver, sure. On that front he sucked as bad as Purifoy, though obviously Purifoy caught way more ints. He was maybe a "D: versus the run compared to Purifoy's "F-".

Dante Fowler and Jonathan Bullard were also great.
Dante Fowler had a grand total of 14.5 sacks while playing for the Gators. He does not even appear in the top ten of sack leaders. Or top ten in tackles. He has been a disappointment in the pros as well.

How are Ivey and Cece busts? All Americans no, but busts? Nah.
For being 5* they are busts. If they were 3* or low 4* yeah they would be OK, but not for 5*. 5* are supposed to be surefire, can't miss, will step on the field and dominate. At least everywhere except Alabama where they might have to wait behind 2 or 3 other 5*.

Tyler Moore?
Yeah, he has to be top five, but I guess I give him a break because he was a desparation pick transfer.

Say what you want about Slow Fred but at least he occasionally slows down a defender, and he is competent in run blocking if you don't ask him to sprint to the edge first. People blew past Moore like he wasn't there. I've never seen anyone whiff so much on DTs that are lined up on their nose or shoulder. Fred and Tyler Jordan are all SEC compared to Tyler Moore. (Hell, Jordan actually had a good freshman year. I don't know what happened after that.)

If there is a worse starting P5 lineman ever than Tyler Moore, I'm not sure who it would be.

Remember when he left early to "go pro"? :lmao2:

On the field, Brantley hands down.

Off the field, Hernandez hanging by his bedsheets.

Although recently, this has REALLY pissed me off.....

Mason Halter can't be far behind, 280 pounds and the legs of a banty hen.

Austin Hardin, if a kicker hit the snapper in the a$$ with the ball more than him, at any level, I never saw him.

Donald Douglas, although he would still be in the mix with what we currently have.
