I rarely touch an American lager.

Btw ipas are American too. The rest of the world wont touch that crap. I love it when some skinny jeans wearing US American goes to Europe and gets pissed he cant find hoppy piss over there.

You already said that. You're bordering on Fever-level repetition here. It's only a matter of time before Ox has to threaten a vacation.

Also, US Americans? Do they even have donkeys in South Carolina?

BTW, the ales float on top. The lagers on the bottom...

Two hearted is the best beer I’ve ever had .
For those not so absurd in their views as our IPA hating stubborn mules, if you enjoy Bell’s Teo Hearted, try Ballast Point Sculpin. Great beer. Less sweet than Two Hearted, which is better when you’re on the second.

Great beer. The grapefruit is the only variation beyond the original that I like. They had an unfiltered Sculpin out last summer that was incredible. I haven't seen it this year.

BP Sculpin is a good one for sure. I only get it on tap though. Mainly because i'm not going to pay $14 for a six pack. Especially when there are many fine choices at $10 or under. I hate Grapefruit, so unless someone hands me one I won't be giving that one a go.

That unfiltered extra hopped IPA has been around, at least in Seattle, as I’ve been drinking the heck out of it for the past couple of months. Good stuff!

This is the position I don't understand. Do a whiskey thread and people will talk about the vanilla present in this rye, the sweeter corn notes of a particular bourbon, or the smoky, peaty taste of a fine single malt scotch. Others will state their preference for smoother, less smoky, etc.or rave about the different casking methods and the various flavor profiles that comes from that.

But mention beer, and it's almost as if any flavor other than "cold" and/or mass-produced automatically makes you a skinny jean wearing, beanie half-way-on, hipster. Mention you like the taste of hops and you may as well run for the hills in your Prius.

Ironically, some of those bashing virtually anything outside of American lagers, would gladly drink a PBR, while taking shots at "hipsters" in between each sip.
As long as the PBR is cold... ;)

$95 for a sixer? 50 bucks for a bomber?

Good people hitch hiker

Quality brew here. Pretty typical IPA with hops galore and pineapple. Best enjoyed in either a skirt or skinny jeans while asking Alexa to play wannabe by those British gals .

I like the helmet. Looks a little small to be official, though. Not sure you’d be able to fit that over your fedora.

So living on the west coast has at least one perk;).
I've yet to see the standard Sculpin sixer anywhere on the east cost for under $14.99.
Hell I've seen it at $18.99 in NY.At my local liquor store it just collects dust for the most part until winter. At that time
I'm more interested in the dark stuff than a four month expired IPA.

Tried this over the weekend. Fairly typical Ballast Point IPA in terms of characteristics. I still prefer the Grapefruit and Unfiltered, but it was a really good beer.

Perfect way to cool off when you've spent a hot summer day at a protest, yelling things like "No to Fascists!" or "Feminist as ****".

Hoptropolis by New realm brewing.
This hoppy treat is a real delight in the brutal summer heat . It’s not as hazy as I imagined , and reminds me of the founders all day ipa .Great news for law donkey is it’s fresh on tap just in time for the mamma Mia premiere on Friday evening . Hope you and the First Lady have the time of your life law.
