Id rather watch paint dry.
...or two flies fornicate.

Seriously, I remember when it first became a high school sport and all the old coaches referred to it as a "communist" sport! By itself, the game provides a lot of cardiovascular exercise and skill development and it was always a good unit in PE. I can't say I'm enamored with it. International fans are a turn off for me, but some of the same can be said for US fans of the traditional sports as well. I usually only watch it when we eat at the local Mexican restaurant.

No thanks. It's for Europeans.
...and for Asians, South Americans, Africans, Central Americans, Mexicans, Australians.... etc. Let's see who did I miss? Canada and the U.S.A. I guess that about sums it up. Liking soccer does not mean you have to like anything else less.

How about for the fact that it’s a freaking snooze fest? If I’m forced to watch a game with that style of play, I’d rather watch hockey.

Baseball can also be a snooze fest but at least it’s an American snooze fest.

Baseball IS a snooze fest. Period. Full stop. Don't care where it's from. "oh, it's drizzling.. STOP! cover the dirt part of the field!!! can't get mud on my knickers"

Every sport is boring to someone somewhere. I'm not a big soccer fan, but the World Cup is the best sporting event in existence. I mean you've got a country with the land area and population of Kentucky going up against France for the world championship.
