Yep, but I will say this about Nelson. He was easily no greater than like the 7th option during his time. Harvin, Caldwell, Cooper, Murphy, CI, Hernandez, Rainey, James, and Demps (I think I'm missing people), all were ahead of him and there's not a reason why he should have taken any touches away from any of them. I think the fact he had so little touches and has done well is an indication of great development.
I always thought Omarius Hines never got the ball enough. He was a beast who never got the touches to help his draft stock.
Good Topic, btw.
I partially disagree. Rainey was an average pass catcher, Demps was downright terrible. Tebow would hit that kid right between the numbers and it'd bounce into the dirt. Nelson wasn't as fast, but he could at least catch.
Oh ok. Like a former player who entire career was wasted. Off the top of my head, I wish we woulda got more years outa gillislie. Clearly was better than rainey or demps.I forgot that parameter I meant to add, no one who is currently able to be saved like Franks and Stephens. But that is a good one.
Hines is a good one. He definitely looked the part. He was kind of a tweener. But ole muschamp wasn't interested in offense. Definitely one that you'd think woulda been a baller somewhere else.I always thought Omarius Hines never got the ball enough. He was a beast who never got the touches to help his draft stock.

Well Mullen appears to be working wonders on Franks.
I'd have to go with Driskel. Could you imagine if he had any type of DM tutoring??
So under utilized in 09,10 and even 2011. He had it all as a RB, great 2nd and 3rd gear speed, decisive when he hit the hole, great hands, and pound for pound maybe the toughest runner in the last 10 or so years to go through UF.Oh ok. Like a former player who entire career was wasted. Off the top of my head, I wish we woulda got more years outa gillislie. Clearly was better than rainey or demps.
Driskel and Greer.
Honorable mention: Brantley. I don't think Meyer did him any favors.
Yeah... sad thing is these staffs had what they needed to win. It’s a tie between Jacoby Brissett and Will Grier.
Is that on the coaches though? Or on Brantley for coming here knowing we ran the option?I can’t help but think Brantley would have been really good under the right coach in a pro style offense.
Brissett was worlds better than Dipshytskel in any offense. You have to be a moutbreathing dwag fvkktard not to see that.Brissett’s pocket presence was phenomenal.
I remember when Daz left thinking we wouldn't see much Demps other than on KR and Rainey on third down only (or in the slot) while Gillie and the other real RB took the carries.Oh ok. Like a former player who entire career was wasted. Off the top of my head, I wish we woulda got more years outa gillislie. Clearly was better than rainey or demps.
Reed was dumber than a box of rocks and had to have true freshman Trey line up at RB and handle the offense for him.over Jordan Reed, who was obviously our best option at QB for our Tebow-less Addazio offense.
