I think Pierce’s blocking struggles are way overstated. I haven’t seen many missed assignments from him.
I don't think he has really been put in that position much.

That’s what I thought. How would we really know?
On the internet, if he runs the ball to the hole the coach tells him to, instead of just bouncing outside every play, he sucks.I think Pierce’s blocking struggles are way overstated. I haven’t seen many missed assignments from him.
He obviously has had some trouble in practice. I think he shines next year.
Wasn’t Scarlett horrific in pass protection last year? I seem to remember that being the main reason he didn’t get more time on the field.
His progress in that area alone has made him valuable. I’ve also felt like he continues to be a strong YAC guy who protects the ball.
Scarlett always seems like he’s close to breaking a long run, but never does. He’s become a great blocker and has been clutch at getting that one yard when we need it. Others on here have said they’d like to see him get the bulk of his carries in the 2nd half, I agree with that. Like to see Perine featured more early in the game and Pierce get some early action as well. Glad we got all three though.
He is a dancing machineI have to say I really thought JS would have been more dominating running the ball this year; however, He seems to be slower to the holes and not getting it done. What say you?
I wonder how Malik is coming along? I suspect he's doing well or we would be hard after two RBs this cycle.
