Senior year (76-77) it SNOWED. Not a lot, just flurries. Still, I was walking back to frat house in my Army ROTC dress greens and was wondering what the protocol was for experiencing that atmospheric condition without a coat (it's that you just let your uniform get damp). Of course, by the time I became a 2LT later that year, I HAD a topcoat for my dress greens.
my jr year. Sitting in a class in old Fla Gym. We look out and see snow. Begin moving toward the door and the prof. asks why. We said, "you MUST not be from around here" Great day in gville. No real snow since then to speak of.

One of the biggest misconceptions about North Florida. Average low in Gville from December-February is low 40's, with it routinely dipping into the low 30's or even 20's. I've been to Fl/ga games in early November that were stupid cold. Now, it doesn't typically stick throughout the day like it does in northern states. But anything above Marion County and inland is a totally different climate from the rest of the state.
Which is why I'm in SoCal.

I think Vandy will play us tough early, like they always do. We’ll pull away in the second half. Final will be something like 31-13

We’ve failed to score more than 21 only once, and they’ve never scored more than 21in that streak. But yeah, it’s always a nail biter cause it happened once or twice. Just like we’ll lose to every FCS team forever because Georgia Southern.

Well after all that lead in, I'm not going. Getting a new foster puppy this weekend so I'll be manning the chat box as usual.

Sorry BNA, your revenge will have to wait. :bna:

Mullen is not super happy with the practice this week. Seems like some have hit a wall on Tuesday and yesterday. Jump to 12:24

We need to beat them worse than GA did. Those 5 things should be eliminated by our defense and a good game plan to run the ball and throw short open receivers passes.

I don't know about 48-0 but I agree that it's not likely to be a competitive game. That's why I said earlier I don't see this as being a potential trap game. These Gators are a team on the rise, they are looking to prove themselves and are not in any position to be complacent about anything.

Mighty G's 42-10, and 7 of the 10 comes in garbage time.

BTW, I do agree with you and think UF will win with ease. Still that thought we have is part of the trap as is Vandy falliing between LSU and UGa this year. I am thinking something like 35 or 38 to 13.

I really want to the see the defense show up and rally to the ball and tackle after the debacle against UK.

Since Heggie played 52 snaps against LSU, this may not mean much. But, please tell me this is trolling? Fred Johnson is still listed as the starter at RG? :barfaway:

Lots of coaches particularly in basketball don't change starting lineups during a winning streak. UF won a big game as an underdog last week, so why risk rocking the boat.

This game has classic trap game written all over it, two wins when underdogs back to back, a game with UGA two weeks away for the potential lead in our division, and a Vandy team that isn't looking too special at Vandy. We should win, but I expect the output to be less than the last two weeks. The team overall has been playing above it's talent level (which is a credit to coaching), there is going to be some fall off at some point. This seems like the type of game for it to happen. Just to have it ramp back up for UGA.
