Solid life lessons we’re teaching these kids. And the new rules almost encourage it.

I get where you're coming from - and basically agree in principle. It's just become so much of a business. College football used to at least feel like it's own thing, but the past decade or so it has started to seem more and more like just a development league for the NFL. The old strict rules helped prevent this - but I also feel like when the coaches can be completely mercenary, it isn't exactly fair to the kids to chain them to a commitment. Both the coach and the players are signing a contract of sorts - but there is little downside for the coaches and big downside for the players.

So when a kid isn't getting the spotlight, now we see him wanting to "get hired" by some other team that will give it to him. Sad - and certainly a sign of the times; but I think also a sign of the change in college football climate and culture.

We seem to be a footnote. I’m not gonna get excited until he posts us in his Top 12 on twitter.

Not sure I would be excited, but it does seem interesting that Mullen is even considering making a move. I guess that shows that he is probably done with FF and looking for something else next season, either a transfer or start EJ.

The guy lost out to a woman, I'm not getting excited at all.

To be fair, every QB we had since Tebow would lose to him too. Heck some NFL qbs might.

Why are we in contact with someone else’s trash?

Doesn't say Mullen contacted him. Just says that he's been in contact with Florida. He probably initiated the contact. He only has 1 year of eligibility left. That doesn't do a whole lot for Mullen at this point.

He’s arguably the worst starting QB Dabo’s had at Clemson.

Is there a reason why I haven't yet banned you for life?

Well, there’s a few possibilities...

A. You think I’m hilarious.
B. Your extremely benevolent because you’re amused that I think I’m hilarious.
C. You haven’t banned donkey, trex or ava, so I’m WAY inside the boundaries.
D. Despite the age and height difference, you know good and well the beat down I could inflict on you.
E. B, C and D.

Edit: can’t believe I didn’t include this choice the first time - I’ll tell your MOM!

I trust coach, but a quitter is not something I really want that much. If we can improve that would be fine but the transfers have not worked out that well in the past.

You'd take that woman at UF in a heartbeat...
what is it with you people who seems absolutely oblivious to the fact that Mullinz runs the option and is looking for a running QB, prticularly one who is 6'4" 245 power runner who can throw a litle.
