Going by our recruiting the past 3-4 years under Mac, the fact that we couldve easily been a 2 win team last year says youre wrong. Did you not watch those games in ATL the years we won the East? They were blowouts. Michigan embarrassed us, we lost badly to the good teams out there. This team is not very good right now, and Mullen has his work cut out for him. He was not handed the keys to a sportscar, he got a Team with a lot of holes.

This is beyond silly. UF could have just as easily beaten aTm and LSU last year and had UF done so might well have won other games though likely not UGa last year.

This team is not very good right now because UF did not hire the right coach yet again. The minimum acceptable coaching performance against this schedule was 10 wins and losing at home to UK and UMo is never acceptable NO MATTER WHAT. I guess UF could still eek out 10 wins in a bowl game, but to have your team so unprepared as to lose home games to both UK and UMo in the same year is inexcusable to me. You will never ever recruit your way out of that. Either Mullen gets better or expect more of the same.

Good response. Never ever argue with Insti. You don't stand a chance, right or wrong, and you'll have to keep reading his long cat posts that usually contain multiple points that are numbered. Oh, and there won't be any niceties or respect for any of your opinions in his replies. Gotta love Insti!

Not necessarily him. Steele can play any position in the backfield. So, this kid could be a CB and Steele could play Safety. Right now we can't sniff a top rated Safety.

I'm not at all saying my way would work, I'm saying if something us broken fix it. Clearly Frank's can't run the offense we can all see that, even Mullen sees it which is why he made the change last week. Im just saying why go backwards and put Frank's back in when our season goals cannot be reached (win the east, sec championship, major bowl, playoffs). Frank's nor Trask was Mullens guy, Jones was his guy which means Mullen chose him because it fits his style of play. The kid has been on campus two months shy of a year. It makes sense to go with the future and not the present if the present cannot get you where you want to be.

I think Mullen is just afraid to fail right now but me personally would rather lose with Jones and him gain the experience for next year than to lose with Frank's. That's just me. I also wouldn't hold it against him if we lost with Jones and that's the God's honest truth because I'd feel better going into next season knowing the kid understands the speed of college vs high school. You don't learn that by getting 4-5 plays in a season.
The urgency isn't there at this point. You're having a very short sighted reaction to something that is very layered. In a vacuum, of course, it's always about winning the next game. But what does that actually serve? This team isn't good enough to be anything other than mediocre. Which it currently is.

I'm seriously done with this sucking crap. This season is already lost in my opinion. While most everyone keeps bagging on the recruiting class, I'm extremely excited about the potential defensive talent coming in. Honestly I see the future in a brighter light than most. At times, I see so much potential with this offense. We're gonna be real good, real soon. Can you imagine EJ with Copeland and Toney and Pearce and Krull? So many explosive players that can catch, throw and run. As a matter of fact, I'd bet that you see most, if not all of those guys in the game when EJ plays for the rest of the season. At 6-3, this season is over. It's not like he said he won't play at all so I don't really get your stance. He could potentially play 2 full games out of a remaining 4 games. Who gives a crap if we win the other 2? The season's over. I'm ready for a season where we don't suck anymore. I honestly don't care that much whether this team beats South Carolina or not. I'm just excited about the potential next year.

The losses were due more to coaches. Mullen is who we thought he was. A decent coach who will win a game he shouldn't and then lose one he has no business losing. He lost to UK and Missouri. The lsu win was nice but they aren't great. Playing Franks this long was a mistake

JUCO CB DJ Daniel commits to UGA (he just de-committed from South Carolina). This bodes well for us w/ Elam. UGA likely gets Stevenson at CB as well. Hopefully we get Elam and Steele. I'd like to see another DB to play Safety though.

Unless Mullen bangs a co-ed on Fuchs desk, he likely ain't going anywhere for at least 5 seasons. He needs to flip this roster and keep moving forward; landing better recruiting classes each cycle, getting "his" players in place, shuffle the coaching staff (at least 2 changes this off-season), stop getting blown out by the Missouri's on our schedule, and most importantly, find a damn QB.
He isn't flipping shyt with 15-25 classes.

If he doesn't fix this, that fvkking Howdie Doodie baseball first AD and Mullinz will be gone in 3.

You can hire a guy that the UAA hates as an AD. But you ride or die.

We're about ready to grab a Tinerc sized Brick By Brick heaping helping of low 3 stars.

Butters would be proud.

I cant believe we’re talking about changing coaches. This man was handed a 4 win team and may dbl that total in his first year. Smh
No, he was handed an 8 win team that had a 4 win coach.

The bottomline is recruit like Butters and you won't last any longer than he did.

That only holds water if he wasn't landing his second straight Butterish recruiting class. We are a little more than three weeks out from ESD and he just loaded up for all his last gasp recruits last weekend and served up that shyt show. They aren't coming.
