Players and Social Media

It might be about time Dan bars these kids from social media....at least till the season is over and played out. Between Franks catching Del Rio running his mouth and all the other negativity between the fans booing and the current production on the field, this situation could lead to a divided locker room if it hasn't happened already.

I generally agree with your position. I'm not thrilled that 18-21 year olds have an open mic to the world at all times. That is just a recipe for disaster. But I will say, from the few interactions I've had with Grimes at games, he seems to be a really good kid. And I don't think this comment is anything out of line.

f I were to guess, he's probably responding to someone (an adult) who's taking shots at him on some format, which is ridiculous. It's one things for us to talk with other adults about sports in general. It's something entirely different to follow and make comments to players and/or recruits.

I don’t think Grimes is out of line, I actually think he is sticking up for Franks...they are close friends (roommates I think). I was just saying that hopefully sides are being picked, which happens in quarterback controversies

Nor do I. Never been on any of those so-called "social sites" and have to agree with what Mike Gundy recently said in that those types of sites are the ruination of our society. I have said that for many years that is the reason our society is so stupid, but I do not have the weekly microphone as Mike "I am a man" gundy does!
