We're earned 10 times the notoriety over the quarterbacks who've transferred away over the past 96 months than those who stayed.

Bullshiit. He had dozens of conspiracy theories, starting with Treon planted the cocaine on him and then narc'ed.
********….Treon dumped out the protein powder that had Creatine in it and replaced it with the Ligandrol infused brand that LDR supplied, which was purchased by Butters....get your damned story straight.....:drunk:

I imagine had Grier stayed we would have been an 8 to 10 win team the whole time he was here....meaning, Butters would still be here. This was a blessing!
I'd rather see Grier running Mac's offense than Franks running mullens

Surrounded by a bunch of guys who look better suited for running the mile than protecting the quarterback?

Id rather not see either of those "offenses" unless it is on the other sideline.

I put offenses in parenthesis bc it seems like you have to score in order to earn that title.

The longer I have been involved coaching, the more I question why fans think football coaches are smart just because they have a job with a big time program.

I dont think many people get to see behind the curtain or have ever actually talked to any of these coaches.

There are certainly some really bright coaches. There are also many who would be challenged by a job at Two Men and a Truck.

A friend of mine is a state championship high school football coach and die hard bleed blue Michigan fan. Runs some 1950s power offense w three plays, like everyone else in Michigan. He once attended a coaches clinic at Ann Arbor and said he was so shocked when he met and spent time with Brady Hoke. His comment was without a doubt that guy was the stupidest man in the room.

I had some pretty serious interactions with one of the dudes who is no longer in the business but is still regularly on ESPN getting interviewed. If he had a 50 IQ someone gave him extra credit. He is dumb enough that I'm unsure how he functions in life and I'm amazed that he did anything on the football field.

Clay Travis has an excellent line about most college football coaches have the greatest disparity in income by simply choosing the right job. Meaning, if a lawyer didn’t go to law school he/she would likely still became a successful accountant, executive, etc. but for most football coaches (see Chump, Chizik, Pruitt, Taggart, Zook etc), if they weren’t football coaches they’d be lucky to clear $40k per year instead of the multi-millions they get from coaching.
