I’m going to play a little bit devil’s advocate here. I agree with this guy. They had high expectations and there probably is not a lot of excitement playing us.

And he is right. We are a shell of what we used to be. We were the most feared team in college football off and on for two decades.

Chump and MacElstain absolutely tarnished and then mangled the brand. There is a reason why kids were not lining up to come here and play.

HOWEVER, It does look like Mullen is pushing the brand rebuild into overdrive. But this idea that UF had fallen so far is not just something we feel as fans. Or something that’s local or regional. It’s national. Nobody fears the mighty Gators anymore. The offense was ranked in THE HUNDREDS for nearly a decade. Mullen transformed that overnight.

Although I do not think this bowl game will make or break this coaching staff, I do think it can be a massive statement that we are on our way back. But it will take 2 to 3 years until we are feared again. It will take that long to get out all the Sun Belt players, build depth, and re-establish the Gator mystique.

Fvk Fooley and his arrogance.

The last time Michigan fans were this vocal about how bad we were, things went pretty well for us.

Oh, and our current head coach was on the sidelines for that one as well.

That was Ohio State, but these B10 teams all look alike to me.

But Michigan fans and media were leading the charge in criticism of our getting into the BCS game. I realize we played a different team. But the majority of the ripping came from Ann Arbor.

Bro, he said we aren’t a name brand and THEY ARE MICHIGAN FANS.

They haven’t won an outright title since WWII ended three years prior. They have a losing bowl record. They have three losing seasons in the last 10 years. We have the same amount of Heismans.

Nobody gives a shyt about Michigan. Nobody alive can remember their last elite season. Fvkk these clowns

Exactly. It really shows how far we have fallen as a brand.

They have beaten our asses the last four times, they have the right to talk until we shut them up. If we go in there and beat their ass, that will shut them up. They have a schit season last year, and still beat us like Donkey beats his meat. They have treated us like the Sailors treat J's mouth when on shore leave. Until we beat their ass, they have the right to talk.
