I've been checking since Butters was announced to see who he hires....and nothing yet. I imagine he hires at least two of the duds he had in gainesville there at CMU. I'm sure Nord dusted off his resume when he heard the news.

Word in Dallas, Butters is trying to the DC tight ends coach... a man we know as Nuss. Let's see if Jones counters.

Of course there is. But you never really know whats in someones heart.
Which is why you have to base these decisions on on prior behavior. Liberty has a lot to lose reputationally from this specifically because of their message.

Liberty will do well by this hire.

Freeze can turn his life around

Great location and most of his players will be squeaky clean.

There's also wisdom in ensuring someone has come all the way back before you put them in a position of public trust again.

Bold added, this is probably why his first head coaching gig is at a lower level PRIVATE institution. His trust is a private trust there. A private University has put its private money and reputation at stake hiring him. The taxpayers nor the public are on the hook for him this time around.

That depends on if Freeze has reformed or not.

Jesus forgave a whore in the street and murderer and a thief. I think he stills has alot of street cred.
