Here we go. Another transferring failed QB knobslobathon.
Don't you think it's a little early to call him a failed QB?

I don't think anyone expects him to sniff UF - UGA almost certainly wouldn't allow the transfer here anyway. This is more about laughing at UGA, something you used to enjoy before you took a **** on absolutely every topic.

I’m pretty sure they can’t restrict where he transfers to. I believe that was part of a recent ncaa rule change

He isn't even a scheme fit for that offense. It never made any sense.

You know all these Dual Threat QB's think they are passers who can run, instead of runners who can occasionally pass. I think Fields thought he was better than what he was. He is supposed to be accurate, but that doesn't mean he can make the reads.

Why would a conference enforce a rule that forces a talented player to leave the conference?
Because they don't want intra-conference transfers. If there weren't a rule, no one would need waivers. I think he will go to Penn State or something like that.

He does have to sit out a year still.

I don't even understand the fascination with these guys like Fields and Solomon. what are you really want someone who quits the team whenever their playing time decrease is somewhat? I get it if it's a player who really to go to UF but butters didn't offer.

Obviously Kirby Bangschump is promising all these kids playing time in order to land them. Saban has never had to do that.

That and I wonder what kind of ride he has now. Fields should have never went to Georgia knowing their situation if he wanted to start right away. He should have came to UF.

I really feel for the kid. He picked the absolute worst place for him when you combine the depth chart, and
how to utilize his skills. What makes it even worse is the kid could have gone literally anywhere in the country, and
would be better off today for it. Not one member of the leghumper staff has experience with the development of
a true dual threat QB. The Fields family was sold a bill of goods by bozo Smart and his 800 pound OC.

The UGA QB room

12577

So Fromm and three walk-ons. Currently they have 3* John Plumlee (#15 DTQB) committed. Don't laugh, JJ is ranked #16. Expect UGA to sign a 2nd QB, but all the good Pro Style QBs are committed, so they'll be trying to flip. Hard to get a grad transfer, because Fromm is the clear incumbent. A regular transfer doesn't help you. Maybe JUCO, but another FR QB seems most likely. That will definitely affect game planning next year.
Plumlee is local. Good athlete. Not sure UGA ever intended for him to play QB. Thought he would have been a good second QB for us.

Not pining for another transfer but I’d happily accept him. Kid is legit and we’d go from a sh*tty qb room to an unbelievable one in just two years.

That could be the case anyway

I blame this on the coach.

I think they promised to get him ready for the NFL by making him a pro style QB then of course turned around and used him as DT QB. Dan was straight up with him. I will teach you how to throw and make reads but you have to be a willing runner...and that was that.
