Why can Jimbo do it in the same exact number of days? Because Sumlin was a glowing success? What about Cristobal following in the footsteps of the legendary Taggart?

Other people are getting it done, history be damned. Why can't we?
I like how he leaves out Meyer at Ohio state. Who was on probation, lost 3 scholarships for 3 years, banned from a bowl went 6-7 the year before he was hired and he took over a roster that wasn't a match for his scheme and went 12-0 finishing with the #3 class.

He actually did almost always got to 5-0 or 6-0 and collapse every year. Even the Dak years.
Good starting line-up with a few holes and little to no quality depth. It’s called the middle of the pack most years and we’ve been living it for too damn long already.

Meyer has won everywhere he’s been. No reason to think he wouldn’t do the same at Missy State...for at least 3-6 years before his tummy aches kicked in.

Sorry to interrupt. Go back to repeating Dorlus, Pickering, Zipperer and Elam hundreds of times.
I don't even know wtf you're talking about. I've never once in my history on this board said any of those names. ever.

Go back to dumping on everything UF minus Mullen.

ways to stay miserable.

In other news, UT lands more recruits, ranking up to 12 on Rivals, not including a 5* big DT Meatchicken transfer.

I would love to hear how U freaking Tenn is recruiting better than us. If you thought we were a dump the past 10 years, UT has been worse in every way the past 20.

True, UF CFB coaches, trainers, with UF market research professors, psychology professors should dissect how cockeyed recruiting gets accomplished.

Our 2020 recruit-class ranking matters now because it harbingers a program's trajectory toward strengthening versus weakening. 2020 acolytes can influence soph & jr. stars to lean our way in 2021, 2020 and the beat goes on .... our way.

This bowl game vs Michigan is useful if results are positive. The 2019 season can be great for improved recruiting when we beat Miami and FSU as future 4*-5* recruits watch. Those wins will reverberate in the thinking of star sophomores and juniors - making establishing relationships a natural process. Winning the state playing the better style of football will be a dominant magnet.

Sum us will say "if Mullen fails" while doubting it, while others keep saying "when Mullen fails" and are sure of it. Mullen's 2019,2020,2021 results will have to determine everything when it happens - not in the 'when' of 2018 or prior to 2019 scores at the first of rebuilding. If we can't have the best coach in CFB, then let's allow Mullen to give that guy a run for his championships, you know we'll have to face him in the SEC championship game.

If we can't get behind a Gator Great like Mullen, what greater coach do we deserve?

What are our remaining positions of need in this recruiting class. I don’t think this has been covered yet...

oh I know what you were trying to do, you just failed miserably, and still haven't answered the question. We both know why. Carry on.

This is why they're doing all they can do to keep him on campus. No program is bullet proof. And there's very few coaches that can get results like that.

Tough crowd. How about we wait until Mullen wins a national championship before celebrating anything. Make that two national championships in case the first one is a fluke.

How about we just wait until he wins the East, Butters did it 66% of the time.

OSU is keeping Meyer there because OSU Medical is the best place to control rumortorrid artlietous.

I think he can ensure he surrounds himself with good recruiters. He’s been a HC long enough to understand the importance of his roster. He didn’t collapse at Missy State every year because he forget how to coach midway through the season. He knows it was due to depth/talent.
He needs a balanced coaching staff just like he needs a balanced roster.
Why do you believe he hasnt addressed it yet?
