Collins is a solid coach. I think he was hamstrung by butters.

Sidehat is a "decent" DC. He will never be elite but he will do ok where he is going. I don't like Grantham but lets be real, he is better than Randy or Sidehat. The fact that he reeks of dawg makes it hard to accept but I feel like if he gets top talent (hopefully) he will actually be good enough to help us to a NC. I know, I am reaching... Go Gators!

I tend to agree with this. In my opinion, the defensive talent pool in Florida favors an aggressive defense due to the speed of the players. It sells Safeties and LBs on bringing the thunder and it sells CBs on displaying man lockdown skills. See: 1980s Gators defenses. I can deal with getting burned on occasion if we consistently get home and punish people.

That's a great hire. Very good coach ,a GT alum, and an excellent recruiter. A loss for Bama and good competition against UGA. Impressive Collins was able to pull him without the OC title.
