Class is 8th best in terms of average star rating. Still 5th in SEC.

The top 4 classes nationally are all SEC. It's just brutal that the #5 class in the nation would still be 5th in conference.

It's one of the areas where pure athletic talent and size can make you look so dominant in hs, too.

I like two SDE and then a blitzing LB or two in a 3-4. What we have is a 3.5-2-5 alignment.

Jumbo/Richt/Kirby = Same guy. 3-6 losses per year with a very occasional short...but normally fruitless run. Sometimes sensational recruiters of 5 stars they have no idea how to coach or mold into champions.

I'd rather have Young too, but I'd rather have Bogle than Summerall (who also plays WDE). Bogle and Young are two different positions, so not really fair.

I am with him, I don't understand the excitement about 200# WDEs that'll need 2-3 years to put on 45-50#s to play in the SEC.

It's the same position. Neither is going to go out and cover a TE. They might drop off in a zone blitz but basically they are strictly pass rushing specialists.
