The top 4 classes nationally are all SEC. It's just brutal that the #5 class in the nation would still be 5th in conference.
The actual ranking isnt as important as landing the same approximate number of blue chippers. ie 2 vs 7 doesnt matter if you both land 17-18 4 stars or better.

Only a pothead would fail to recognize the mad hatter was planning to fake a 55 yd fg attempt in the Swamp. I’ll take Haden over JJ, thanks.

Edit: Even the potheads in the student section saw what was coming. JJ had no clue.
it wasn't JJ it was that #13 that left mid-season after that play.

I forget the name but he was a maybe five star DB. JJ just happened to be the first to get there.

Edit: maybe im.thinking fake punt.

he had been all Gator for a while on Twitter. frankly because he hadn't visited the rumor was that we weren't interested.
We’ve not had a lot of luck in the past we getting a commitment from someone who had never set foot on campus. Not to mention the “experts” (I’d use bigger quote marks if I knew how) weren’t giving is CBs

The more and more I think about it the more I think Mullen purposely trolled the shyt out of Taggart. He was all gator, and it seemed he was Florida’s if Florida green lighted him. Then, out of nowhere, FSU crystal balls came and apparently commitment quotes to Newberg. There’s no chance highly touted skill position players go play for that shyt show willingly. Zero chance.

Treon was top rated. We see how that worked out. Chump chased stars. Whether they were a fit or not.

That was back when chump could claim that he “just needs the right QB to make the offense go” because there wasn’t enough film to show a clear and consistent pattern. After almost a decade of habitual failure, a highly rated QB would have to be nuts to sign up with that guy.

I distinctly remember seeing JJ go all out to block the kick, as the outside guy, losing contain and allowing a bad pitch still manage to bounce into the kicker’s hands to convert the first down. I watched the replay and saw that it was indeed JJ and couldn’t believe our best CB couldn’t make the play on a slow kicker. If my memory failed me, then shoot me because that was burned into my brain.

Every shytty coach says that and every dumb fan believes it.

the truth is the offensive line is the most important. a bad line can make a great quarterback look mediocre, and a great line can make a mediocre quarterback look great.

maybe he believed that you couldn't complete a forward bounce pass in football and that the rule about not advancing a fourth-down fumble (if it wasnt a forward pass) still applied, as it does unless it's the Gators who are hurt by it.

With only 1-2 years on his HC resume, it’s easier to fake and I was somewhat fooled early on. Once it was obvious to me (I’m not the most observant guy) that he was micro managing the OC, I knew he either better learn or leave. I wondered if he learned his lesson after reality of his firing set in. Didn’t take long at scar to see he’s either arrogant, stubborn, stupid, nuts or all the above.

That would still indicate the weed was affecting his play. You play like the ball is live until you hear the whistle.

A good example of that was 01-02 Miami. That OL was unreal, and their mediocre QB put up impressive numbers because of it.

According to my calculations with the current commits/signees and the returnees we have 85 players. We need some people to transfer out.
