Oh stop it. No one is as bad as Kyle Jackson. We could have been more effective putting a scarecrow back there.

Jackson was way more athletically gifted than Stiner, but I haven’t seen Stiner make a habit of taking bad angles on a WR the way Jackson did.

Dude, neither safety we played this year is even CLOSE to being good enough to hold Kyle Jackson's jock. Jackson blew three or four coverages a game. These guys make three or four coverages and blow every other one.

We are just lucky that offenses in the SEC has devolved to the point where no one can take advantage of it anymore.

You're out of your mind. Bad angles? He can't even stay on this TV screen most of the time.

The only thing that saved Stiner and Taylor from more embarassment was that McWilliams and the LBs were even worse and even more inviting targets for higher percentage passes.

Nobody on this team is as bad as Kyle Jackson was. Nobody. McWilliams is as close as you’re going to get to the level of suckitude that was Kyle Jackson. Taylor’s pick against FSU would have been a touchdown if Kyle Jackson was in the game and the ball was underthrown by 20 yards

We'll agree to disagree; all though I'm a big enough man to admit maybe my opinion of Jackson is worse because of how much better things got immediately when he was replaced.

But seriously though, Kyle Jackson in coverage:

Hopefully we get one or two of the blue-chippers we're still pursuing...because it's not looking good if we miss. There's a few Plan B DL's starting to pop up, very lowly rated kids (lower than Dorlus).

Miles Dickens (UCF commit), 6'3 230lbs WDE, from Deerfield Beach:

Miles Dickens, Deerfield Beach, Weak-Side Defensive End

Dorien Josey, 6'2 230lbs SDE from Brevard County:

Dorien Josey, Rockledge, Strong-Side Defensive End

Julian Hawkins, 6'3 270lbs SDE from Mississippi:

Well, I talked about what I could SEE, so...

And you’re the one who appears to be drunk posting, even when sober. So I’m not sure on what basis you have to accuse me of being out of my mind.

I don’t think this staff is very keen on taking kids just for the spot if they don’t think they’ll ever see the field. If we whiff with the elite kids we’ll more than likely see grad transfer or juco. They said as much when we only took 20 kids last year.

I NEVER want to see us flip a kid committed to UCF. I prefer the message that there's nobody on their roster that could play for UF.

Agreed. Or they'll roll the seats to '20 or '21. I don't think this staff will reach too far in an effort to fill this class.

Not that I disagree, but these are kids that are currently in contact w/ our staff (and staffers). They are very recent....and some of the contact is very new (i.e. recently followed on twitter by UF staffers - which, believe it or not, is huge in recruiting). I'd like to think we don't take kids ranked 1,485 (or whatever), but they (Mullen) may want another freshman in the class and they are lining up a few Plan B's here. I said in the other post that I'm not sure we take another grad transfer or JUCO (other than the kid from Louisville) because we really don't need one. This isn't about the 2019 or 2020 season. Landing another HS kid in this class is completely about 2021 and beyond. - Hopefully we get one of the blue-chip kids we're after and this isn't an issue. I was simply posting recent news w/ Plan B's.

Looks like there's quite a few feelers being sent out to some plan B's along the dline. Surely we can find one or two that we feel like we can develop.

It’s still a shame they seemed to kill it at MSU recruiting the Dline...
