Who? Oh, the guy who led Ole Miss to the 121st ranked defense in the NCAA this past season. Way to throw some more gas on the fire Willie. I guess his goal is to have the worst offense and defense in college football.

He’s such a tool...he’ll be lucky to make it through next season (unfortunately)

He’s gonna bring them to depths of ineptitude they’ve never dreamed of...and they’re the most deserving team I can think of tbh

They paid Oregon $4.3 million in buyout to get him. Taggelwain has a 6 year, $30 million contract. If they fire him, he gets 85% of his remaining contract, paid monthly for the term of the contract. They are stuck.

Kirby already makes $7 million a year. Does Tampa really plan on offering Gruden money ($10 mill a year) to a coach with a whopping one year of NFL experience? Seems unlikely, but Kirby bolting would put the cherry on top of a fantastic season.

The less job security aspect is why I would think he'd only accept a hefty raise to leave. But you may be right. He might have an NFL itch he wants to scratch and could conceivably just ask Tampa to price match. Even if he flamed out in the NFL, college programs would be lining up to hire him.
