If Zook is hired before Spurrier, he's a 4-8 coach for 2 or 3 years in a row before he's mercifully fired. His recruiting was a result of being a time-slot hit.

Whehhhhh..... Butters and Chimp could have had offenses. They despised offense, though you had to run the ball (or run the ball and throw screens for Butters) and wanted to win TOP rather than points. You could have switched rosters and the results would have been the same.

Ditto with the defenses under Zook if he had Chimp's talent. Hell he did have Chimp level talent.
