Rog, you could drive by that particular bank in the evenings and see him in there cleaning floors, etc.
Who cares? My office is right around the corner from an Offerdahl's, I've seen John mopping more than once. Still, someone should post a vid of the Zooker playing janitor on youtube.

First off, John Offerdahl has been bankrupt for years - you occasionally see him panhandling. Secondly, it's his own failing business, so mopping his own floors makes a little more sense since he can't afford to pay an employee to do it.

Zook did it (and it about to start doing it again) for a local bank because he was broke and needed the money. Perhaps it's gambling or alimony or something, because whatever money he makes is gone FAST.

So that's why the hatred. You were casing that bank and the mere presence of superhero Zook foiled your heist.

My dad liked Brooks Robinson so much that he named me after him. Probably the best third baseman ever and he was a good guy.

Brooks was the best ever, especially on defense. There was nothing wrong with DeCinces, except that he wasn't brooks. Although the last couple years Brooks was sad to watch, especially at the plate. Those were good time for the Os. Not so much since then.

Only on Gatorchatter could a thread about Ron Zook turn into a discussion of Hall of Fame 3rd baseman Brooks Robinson.

Whats wrong about sweeping a bank floor? I guess its akin to buying stuff at a DG.

Here's why the Zooker was so frustrating. In 2003-2004, we lost 6 games in a 20 game stretch in the last 2 minutes.

9/6/03 Miami Ahead 33-10 with 6 minutes to go in the third quarter, Brock Berlin led Miami back with 28
unanswered points to win. The last TD came with 1:51 left.
10/4/03 Ole Miss Ole Miss scores with 1:10 left to win
11/29/03 FSU The Swindle in the Swamp. FSU scores with 1:00 remaining to win.
9/18/04 Tenn Tennessee kicks winning field goal with 0:13 left
10/9/04 LSU LSU scores winning TD with 0:33 left
20/23/04 MSU Mississippi State scores a touchdown with 1:44 left to win

Honorable Mention:
10/18/03 Arkansas Ahead by 33-7 with 9:00 left in the 4th Quarter, Matt Jones leads a comeback that falls
short when he fumbles as they were driving down the field to lose 33-28

Lol what. He took his dream job and he wasn’t good at it. He built a hell of a talent base for Meyer to work with and beat Bobby the night they named the field after him. That right there is absolutely priceless and deserves its own trophy

He also handed eventual national champ LSU their only loss of the season and he did it at their "vaunted" Death Valley starting a freshman QB.
