@BSonnone: QB Deondre Francois is enrolled in classes and has returned to FSU's football team at the start of the spring semester: QB Deondre Francois returns to FSU at start of spring semester

I kind of wondered what his options would be. Just because fsu decided to overlook his allegations of domestic battery and the pound of weed in his car, I'd doubt there were too many suitors lining up to take him. And nothing about his performance has given any indication that he's an NFL talent. So his hand was probably forced in the matter.

Or, he did have options but just enjoys being beaten to a pulp.

I'm guessing Willie begged him to stay so they can have at least 2 scholarship QBs. They've been whiffing left and right. TBH, Blackman should be their guy.

They’ve said they would open the wallet for assistants. I’m sure they figure a million or so more a year is better than paying wiLLLLLLLie’s buyout...which they absolutely cannot afford.

Perhaps Briles is the HC in waiting behind Tagglewain for when the buyout gets down to something affordable.

My thoughts exactly.

Well, almost exactly. In my thoughts it was much better worded with much deeper insight mixed with hilarious asides. But good effort though.

I think SoFla is closer to the truth. I mean, would you stay just 'cause WiLLLLLLLie begged you? Whatever he promised can't be worth the punishment Francois will take again next year behind that line. If he wasn't a nole (or a dwag or a vol), i'd almost feel sorry for him.

There was zero buzz about him. In short, there were no big time D1 takers. Consider me shocked if they have a winning record when they roll into town next year - even with the ACC being nothing but Clemson and smoldering trash fires.

The kid could be a decent QB behind a good O line. He is gonna get pounded again this year.

This hiring is no surprise at all. There's been a rape culture on that campus for as long as I can remember, and I'm not just talking about the endless incidents of rape and sexual assault committed by members of the football team over the last four decades. They had an actual frickin' Rohnpnol factory on campus at one time, for godsake. There is something about that place that attracts the biggest lowlifes in the world, people whose personalities are so hideous that the prospect of any woman having sex with them without being drugged or physically overpowered is nil.

I've often said that if my son decided to go to FSU, I'd be disappointed. My daughter, however is *forbidden* from going there. I wouldn't even let her set foot on the campus.

My son is a pretty good student and scored very high on his SAT & ACT (he takes after his mother) and could have gotten a lot of financial aid to go there, but he never even considered it. I asked him about FSU and the look on his face was one you might expect from someone getting a strong whiff of raw sewage.
