This pcking fun at older guys is easy to understand. It is fear. Fear of the day when 30 and 40 somethings lose hair, gain weight and begin to look funny. I get it. When you work with little kids they don't hesitate to point it out. I heard this just Thurs. "coach your bald" I got that big spot in the back now going clear. I replied "Alexis, its crazy at this age, it grows where you dont want it and doesnt where you do want it" I guess if we gonna middle school in here about womens I gotta accept it about everything else. I remember the VERY first time I heard butter teeth. I was teaching 6th grade math in 78. This one little chubby boy used it all the time.....every time I heard it here I saw his face.

I lost my hair in my 30s. Knew it was going to happen too. The upside, like you said, coach, is that for all the hair I lost on my head, I've grown it in other places. I figure in a couple of years I should be able to sit on a toilet seat and not have it feel cold at all.

I thought it was funny. Not sure why we feel the need to protect folks from harmless ribbing.
Let's just look at the bright side of this. Kerwin is svelte compared to another former gator, old fatso Charlie Weis.

Ummm, yes I did.

Edit: I guess I should’ve addressed the quantity in question. If I recall correctly, 2 SEC Titles, 1 stolen and 1 blocked by the hypocrite from athens. It wasn’t just him, but he led the campaign.

Oh, and if you wanna use the bamuh/voles standard for counting MNCs, I think the NYT ranked us #1 at the end of the ‘85 season.
This x 1000. Bell was a great qb and a great gator. It was the 84 season that the NYT had us #1. Bell also led us to the programs first #1 ranking in the AP poll in 85 season after beating Auburn in Jordan Hare.

I don’t have a single issue with Bell. I just couldn’t believe how huge he was when I saw that picture.

Does it matter what his weight is?

When he has offenses that can hang 50 and go undefeated y'all worry about a coach's weight?
In 2018, Bell led the Blazers to the program's first undefeated season (14-0) and the Division II National Championship.. The Blazers led D-II in scoring with 52 points per game and scored the most points in Gulf South Conference history.

There's a good chance, if Strong gives him autonomy, that he scores a lot of points in that conference with these FL athletes.

So calling a fat ass a fat ass is off limits now? Also it's humourous for Stephenpe to chastise us about name calling after the stuff he says about Trump every day. Nothing is off limits in here and that's what makes it great.

Then just say that in the thread verses having it be the title and then doubling down with the shade, to protect your thread, by undermining his contributions (wins/titles).

There’s gotta be a balance between proper respect for a Gator Great and having a little fun. I’m sure opinions will vary on where to draw that line.

Not that I have any room to talk, but I worry about his future health. He was a football player so he knows how to work out, eat healthy, etc. Perhaps with a full s and c program he will start working out regularly and get in better shape. More for his future health than anything else.

Good points for sure but let me add, Kerwin is big, I mean his hands are huge, his head, his feet, the dude is massive. Yes, he could def lose some weight but couldn't we all?

Coaches talk a lot about how hard it is to stay in shape with the long hours and especially all the meals that mommas serve during in home visits.

The thread title was changed to amuse people. I think about 80% of people were amused. The other 20% got triggered and wrung their hands and claimed I disrespected a legend.

I'm sincerely glad I don't have the bizarre mindset of the 20%. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if Kerwin Bell himself would laugh if he saw the thread title. Freaking relax. "Why you gotta throw shade?" GTFO of here.

I have less patience for political correctness and the lack of humor in society every day.

I think there is a disconnect between commentary...like why the shade and someone being actually triggered. Lol. Any comment that disagrees with a post is considered "triggered" by some people.

You keep using that word...I do not think it means what you think it means.

It's not like I came at you cursing up a storm. I'm pretty relaxed. Its all good Herr Ox.

By and large, I have found that obese people tend to be lazy. I also have found that starting a
new job is a great motivator for someone to change their habits. Here's hoping that Kerwin uses
this change of scenery to get his weight back in line.
