Ron Zook voted us # 2 behind OSU when the Big 10 was pressuring him to vote Michigan in front of us to get them in the BCS Championship game.

Oh. Then that makes everything okay.

Zook SHOULD love the Gators, they made him millions (even though it’s all gone now). Hell, Zook should have a painting of Foley hung in his dining room.

1969 I caught a home run from Boog Powell over the right field fence at the old Municipal Stadium in WPB. That Orioles team was loaded. Spent many an afternoon at that ballpark and got to know many of the Atlanta Braves who were our home team. Met nearly all of them including Hank and Tommy Aaron but actually got to know Rico Carty the best. He always gave us the broken bats after games and treated us to whatever we wanted at the concession stand.

Those were good times.
Much better place to watch the Os than Memorial Stadium on 33rd st. in Balt. I’m sure. What a dump and yet, we’d dutifully drive up from NoVa just to see MLB. Actually saw Aaron there his last season when he was with the Brewers. (75?) My Pop took me & a buddy for my birthday.

If he really did blow his money, there has to be a good story. Realistically, he should have several mil socked away at this point.

I’ve been told by reputable sources that he does. Shirtless and riding a moose in the mountains somewhere. Supposedly it’s tasteful, but weird nonetheless.

Hmmmmmmmm.... that last part has me suspicious. Almost as if it's a UF fan (perhaps who owns fireronzook.com) trying to ensure that Fooley doesn't somehow get him back in the building.

I hear Saban has a few open spots. Maybe The Zooker can get on the Bama-Rebuild-Your-Rep 12 month program? Worked for Lane.... well his was 3 years, but he’s a special case.

I think you and I have disagreed on about 200 things in a row now. We have completely opposite sports opinions.

Didn't used to be that way, I don't know what happened to you.
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.

Had a whacko client who was so obsessed with retribution against neighbors for walking their dog on his property that he installed a remote cam with a monitor and a Hunter irrigation control box all in an office in his house.

He would sit there at his desk slamming beers watching the monitor. Whenever a neighor walked by with a dog, he would flip the switch on the irrigation system.

That’s gonna be me in about 10 years

I walked into that bank one time. Used the restroom after hitting the ATM and bumped into Zook near the stalls. He had on a set of large black rubber gloves, an apron, and was armed with a large plunger and a jug of industrial strength clog remover. Gave me a nod as I casually walked by on my way to the urinal. Hard working guy, that dude.

When I saw him in the bathroom he was seated on a stool next to a tip tray and holding a stack of neatly folded napkins. I used the hands-free dryer but gave him a five anyway.

Now you've done it. We get to hear PE laud what a wonderful worker he is, a "real man" for sticking his hand in that toilet.
