I just went digging for some ideas. There's so many recipes, 107. @grengadgy is there any way to organize better? Add folders or filters so all the Dips are together and the Soups together and Desserts etc.?

Yes can organize them in categories but I haven't done it on Gatorchatter Recipes , I have in my own , it has over 1200 recipes. the seach function is a good way to find a recipe. Just search a key ingredient.

Great! Can you do it?
It's pretty much already done. I checked and there are 13 dips listed. You need to check dips or desserts in Categories filter.

I will be checking them further, I added the chowders and chili to the soups tonight.

QUICK PICKLED JALAPENOS

CATEGORIES
jalapenos

INGREDIENTS
    • 1 lb jalapenos
    • 3 whole peeled garlic (I use 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic}
    • 1 teaspoons whole cumin seeds (I use 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin}
    • 2 1/2 cups white vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • 1 tablespoon salt

INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Slice jalapenos, leaving seeds in tact, but discarding stems. Place into a pint sized mason jar, or other glass, plastic, or ceramic container with a sealable lid. Add in garlic and cumin seeds.
    2. In a small saucepan stir together , vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
    3. Pour mixture over jalapenos in jar until full.
    4. Put jars in a microwave (without lid) on high for 2 minutes for quarts & 1 minute for pints.
    5. Place the lid on and let cool to room temperature.
    6. The lids should seal and then refrigerate..
      NOTES
      Makes 1 quart or 2 pints of tasty pickled jalapenos

      The less you microwave the crisper they will be. The 2 minutes is just right to me, real crisp.

This is awesome y'all, thanks!

I've got a huge library of e-version, and multiple binders, recipes so I'll have to start adding them here.

The Pepperplate is a great ap, and can be used on your devices, cellphone, tablet and computer. We need some good recipes, you can enter them in GatorChatter Recipes or I will do it for if you just post it here.

Augie, did you used to post under a different pseudonym?
Same name but my avatar was the head of a brown Boykin Spaniel. I was a part of the debacle of having to start over each time GSMB "upgraded" which forced a select, invited, few of us to start another forums board.

I was there for all the Sid/Round Table/"Bullet Sponge" comment/Ox's alter ego when he "reported" everybody debacles.

Evidently I did a horrible job of posting and being active in all of the previous forums that literally nobody remembers me. And I'm good with because I don't have any online presence outside of this forum. (Don't tell that to Ox as he'll geek out as it supports some obscure article he once read )

The reason I asked is there used to be a guy from st augie that posted a lot and had a blue car in his avatar-his name was J and 3 k and he just disappeared. Just curious

BTW, j and 3 k was the email I used to sign up with then and our initials. Funny you remembered that.

Now, my screen name reflects St. Augustine (home town) and Valdosta (current town).
