This.
Lotta cut blocking and not much pass pro.
Now, if those of you who are big film watchers say he’d be a good fit, then I’m all for it.
I have not been able to find a highlight film of him at GT but from his high school film, he is very aggressive, fast and can pull and block on multiple levels downfield. There was only one passing play in his highlights but he got back in his stance quickly and had excellent footwork.
Now, the profile of him at 247 shows him from Hallsville, TX. Did they move from Texas to Live Oak or are they not brothers?

Plus since he has not redshirted, Braun must have shown up at Georgia Tech and picked up blocking their quickly enough to at least be in the rotation as a true Frosh. So I would expect him to pick up the scheme here equally quickly.

I would also add if UF wants the younger brother, UF better have a place for the grad transfer Braun to play or he should be a hard pass. If you want the younger brother, you can not bring in the older brother and then have him not get on the field much.

@AndrewSpiveyGC: #Gators get their specialist for the class

Underrated pickup. Kid doesn’t have an elite leg like Pineiro. According to videos, I’d say his max is 55 yards, but could make a 60 yard field in the right conditions. Very good pickup in case something were to happen to McPherson. He’s a punter too. I wonder where they found him. I don’t see him ranked.

Punter is likely to open up first, so I for one am glad to see that he is also a punter. That is more the need in this class.

As for where they found him, it is their job. Hopefully UF's staff rarely if ever hears of a kid first on some recruiting site.

He's ranked #11 in country. He is the kicker at my kids hs. He's from west Broward high in pembroke pines and has made 65 yarders in practice

I meant to comment on this earlier. Rivals reports Black is 230 lbs, 247 say 216 lbs. They list Bogle at 212 lbs and 215 lbs respectively. I would say those pictures are encouraging as to Bogle weight.

I'm not encouraged. Both need 20-30 pounds at least. Black looks like 216 in that for sure. I'd prefer to see him at safety/star at that weight.
