Florida State: Ron Dugans, who served as the co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach last season at Miami (FL), will be the new wide receivers coach for the Seminoles, Bruce Feldman tweets. Dugans previously coached with Willie Taggart at USF.

Saint Leo University (FL): Saint Leo has held a series of focus groups to begin the process of exploring of bringing football back, per the Hernando Sun. St. Leo currently competes in the Sunshine State Conference, which does not compete in football, but is exploring the option of moving to the D-II Gulf South Conference.

Auburn: Carnell “Cadillac” Williams has been announced as the program’s new running backs coach.

Alabama: Multiple reports that Virginia Tech wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins is expected to join the Tide as their new wide receivers coach. Prior to following Justin Fuente to Virginia Tech, Wiggins coached the wide receivers at Memphis, the running backs at Tulsa and Illinois State, & served as a graduate assistant at New Mexico.

If they are wanting to play Mumme/Leach/Holgersonball, that is as good of a hire as any.

Yep. It's absolutely amazing. The hire of Kingsbury (and the number of teams that wanted him as an OC) was absolutely amazing.

I found this elsewhere, but pretty impressive:

Saw this on Les Miles new OC at Kansas, Les Koenning (something Jeremy Foley would truly be proud of!):

5 year contract for $500K/year (he was making $100K as Southern Miss WR coach last year).

Not sure where you found this but a correction is that Matt Mumme is the OC at Nevada. Ben there 2 years now.

Obviously it's outdated as Kingsbury is still listed as the head coach at TT. I wasn't going to spend the time correcting it. Still impressive nonetheless.

No offense but Muschump, Kirby Dumbchump, Aranda, McNeill, Guy Morris those guys aren't Mummeites. They may have coached in the tree but they don't even play that offense. Littrell, Dean, and McMackin, I don't know. Maybe those guys do or maybe not.

It is an impressive list and surprising that many schools want to hire coaches with mulletts who throw the ball sideways.

While both BMF and Swamp are correct in thier own way, I believe that for a coach to be considered a branch from a tree then they should have the same philosophy concerning their specialty. So that would apply to an offensive or defensive mind set.

For an example, just because a defensive coach (ie Smart/Muschamp) was first offered a job with Hal Mumme, it doesn't mean he's a "descendant" or branch of Hal Mumme.

Still though, Mumme's lineage is impressive.

Football Scoop is putting out top 10 lists of highest paid assistant coaches in the country. So far UGA is at the top for DB $600k (Warren #1 by $100k!) and OL $825k (#1 by $20k). UF, Bama, and Ohio State aren't on the list. Side note: Mike Summers is #7 @ $632k.

Gotta wonder how much of a factor potentially singing Elam was in Kirby's decision to hire Warren or pay him that much. Would add some nice schadenfreude to Elam choosing UF.

Isn't Summers at FAU now? How are they paying that?

This dude has hit rock bottom in the coaching world:

Georgia State: Brad Lawing is joining the staff as defensive line coach, a source tells FootballScoop. Lawing has previously coached for Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan State and North Carolina, among others.

Kiffin has two former SEC coaches now coaching the DL & OL (Summers on the OL):

Florida Atlantic: Former South Carolina defensive line coach Lance Thompson has joined Lane Kiffin’s staff at FAU.
