An OL from Pensacola just de-committed from Miss State - looks like FSU now. Lucky f*ckers.

I'm not worried.

They needed 5-6 quality guys - with 2-3 tackles that would need to be ready to compete this year. That didn't come close to happening - even with a late edition or two. Lucas is a quality get - but after that? Smith? He's two years from meaningful snaps. Neither of the guys in the class right have a prayer of playing tackle which is by far the worst spot on their entire team. You can't run wide like Tagelwain wants to if the DEs are able to set the edges literally untouched on virtually every play. You can't play action when your famine survivor quarterback gets shattered into a million pieces on live television from a Clemson OLB who just got look out blocked by a dude whose feet are too slow to play tackle at this level.

FSU's class isn't that bad. 13th and supposedly just had a pumperific weekend. Sure they have 20 DB's and an unranked QB in the class but they seem pretty pumped.
Their class is bad. Really bad. If they lose Cross and Fuller and add the two 3 stars, their class is 23rd. They’d have 12 3 stars and 8 4 stars. It’s not balanced, it didn’t hit really any need offensively aside from 2 decent linemen. No running backs, 1 really slow mediocre WR, no qbs. There’s no universe where their class is “not that bad”. It’s a complete failure for them

Agree on Bogle. I'm neutral on him, as we really need the heavy-DL's, but he's still very talented and allows us to focus on the heavy guys in the next class.

An OL from Pensacola just de-committed from Miss State - looks like FSU now. Lucky f*ckers. I was hoping they'd seriously crash and burn on the OL signees. Their OL is trash and will continue to be for a while. That alone will keep them from ever having a productive offense, let alone the QB issue they have going on.

It does feel like Bogle may not stick with Bama possibly. Hopefully we beat out Miami for him if that is the case.

Agreed, except for the "complete failure" part. They've succeeded in making this Gator very happy.

A couple of things:

1. My current order of desire to get players this week goes Braun, Elam, Bogle, Richardson though I agree with SD that one of the big bodies on the DL would be very good to get, but that looks unlikely now.

2. One of the things we know little about that coaches are paid to know a lot more about is how good the 2019 prospects are compared to the 2020 prospects and for that matter UF's 2018 class. UF is at a point now where taking a player today, say UF could flip a big body a little lower ranked, means not taking an extra player in 2020. So what UF's coaches need to decide is even if they could get a big body to flip for this class, is that prospect a better prospect better than one they likely get in the 2020 class. I first stumbled into this in the Grossman/Berlin days. Grossman was the number 9 QB his year. Berlin was famously ranked 1. But who is to say whether or not the 9th player one year is better or not than the number 1 guy a different year. Some say Bowman is the RB prospect of a generation (ESPN said 30 years I guess) next year. So while a bird in the hand and all that, if I am a coach and I think I can get Bowman in a year, then perhaps I place other positions higher in this class.

Quite possibly the funniest thing I've read in weeks. Well done, sir!

My guess is Braun doesn't sign for a while if that is true he is taking some Spring classes at GT. I think I heard he would be taking at least one more visit also.

Out of the possibilities for us (even if some are very remote) I would have the top 2 possibilities like this as of right now:

Elam: 1. UF 2. Georgia
Bogle: 1. Miami 2. UF - I have a strong feeling he is going to flip to one of us.
MAR: 1. Auburn 2. UF
Moore: 1. Auburn 2. Miss St.
Fuller: 1. FSU 2. Bama
Henry: 1. Auburn 2. FSU
