No way this thing lasts more than two seasons. None of these things ever do. I’m hoping for it but I have no confidence. Which sucks because I think it’s a really good product on the field.
It doesn't really matter if no one can watch it even if we try.

The truth is if it werent for SOS, we wouldn't care either. I'm not tuning in to watch Will Hill and some backups.

I haven’t any issues watching it so far
Well, CBS decided to show me west coast teams instead. I heard the same from DC area and some of the northeast.

CBS is a big, big part of the problem.

How do you get a venture off the ground and then shut it down after 2 games? Piss poor planning.

They could get more people in the stands if they cheapened the seats. Me and some friends are looking to a game but they're proud of those seats.

How do these dumbasses amass such fortunes in the first place? Just toss $250 million down the rabbit hole.

Especially when, by all accounts, the attendance and fan interest has exceeded expectations

What are the coaches making? Is there any guaranteed money? Why would any coach commit to lead a team if they are already worried about getting paid? Why start a league if you don't have the money to sustain it for at least the first season? What a joke.

Considering the short length of the season, and the way the "draft" works out, they are pretty well paid for their efforts:

Of course, if the league had gone under after week 2, all bets are off. I'm wondering if it's more of a cash flow problem than actual funding (maybe they expected TV checks sooner than they are getting them? It's a good thing they got a sizable infusion that should carry them through the season.

The more I hear about it, the more that it sounds like its not a total value but a cash flow issue.

They apparently got 250M so that should last a little while. I always wonder why these things don't have a proper business plan and financing.

Dang, and I can tell you from Orlando ticket prices (granted, I got mine at $35 for seats normally around $100 through a connection), that the probably 20,000 paid (give or take) at an average of $20 (again, people paid more and some paid less) is $400,000 before merch, tv rev, concessions, etc. Sounds like there is an issue somewhere. One team should be able to do a week with that money, away teams...who knows.

"Action Network reported Tuesday that the AAF missed payroll in Week 1 and told players they would be getting paid by, at latest, today. (Each AAF contract is for three years and $250,000.)

They have now been paid.

Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon is investing $250 million in a move that the AAF is arguing is not a bailout."

Did you get to the game last night? Article on the game says they had over 20,000 fans there.

Apollos of AAF add 200 more fans to week 1's attendance breaking 20k
