Of course winning more and playing better is an easy idea. Do we have any other creative ideas?

I will start.

I would like a reasonable cost package including hotel, transportation to and from the game and decent tickets would encourage some of us to attend a game or two.

Give some advantages to say frats to actually use their tickets and be in the seats for kickoff. Special access to say practice if you fill your seats.

Anything else???

So you think frat boys are willing to give up their drinking and carousing an hour earlier so that they can attend practice????? You must have been a lot of fun in college.

A bottle of Aquafina in the Swamp costs $4 for God's sake. They need to do a way better job with food vendors and obviously lower the price of water and Gatorade. That's not going to boost attendance that much. Better food at the stadium wouldn't hurt though.

Author Blank has done just that at the new M-B Stadium and it’s gotten rave reviews.

We just need to follow the Jags model of success and put in a swimmin’ hole.

They got free water now. I hit that thing lots of times.....Big container and small cups. And its cold. But they have some food that is AWFUL........even convenience store food is much better.......

Hell I thought the Swamp sold out and there were 92k every Saturday. According to most of you dingbats we are churning out sellouts. I’m all for it because baseball and basketball needs some new uniforms.

At Texas, they have organized pregame with concerts, food trucks, vendors, kids activities.

The game is just part of the day and not the only thing.

Also, sell beer

I'm not sure there's anything to improve attendance except winning, but having said that, there is an infinite amount of things that could be done to improve the gameday experience, a lot that have been mentioned here. I mean, who's kid wouldn't want to play a game of laser tag dressed as a shark?! I know they put in a beer garden, which I did not visit, but the entire north lawn could be turned into a food/sports bar/entertainment area. And do away with open container laws on gameday.

Yes, winning is the #1 thing that will bring the fans....and not just "winning", but competing for championships.

One of the things they could do for the crap games (the 1AA teams) is give as many tickets as they can to charities, schools, kids programs, etc. They could add another 2 to 3 thousand kids w/ some parents. It's not going to increase revenue much but they most likely spend on concessions....but more importantly it fills seats and helps to develop future Gator fans. I went to my first UF game at 9 years old - I was a fan before that, but after I attended it was the biggest event, "thing" I had ever laid my eyes on. I even got to run around on the artificial turf after the game!
