There is no evidence that he is not a SEC caliber QB, except for the fact he can’t keep from hurting himself every five minutes.

I wanted to see him get a shot.
there's no evidence he's even a competent high School starting quarterback.

I bet he was the shyt in middle school though.

What a guy.

Yep, but why did we give him a showcase in the spring game?

Seriously I’m glad they booted him. I’m a believer in due process and all but in the #metoo era everyone gets crushed if they were in proximity of an incident. The fact that Jones was willing to transfer instead of standing up and fighting speaks volumes to me about how successful his defense would be. I commend Dan and co for moving swiftly on this and not allowing a long drawn out process

Not so sure Mullen will come out like a disciplinarian here. He’s almost certainly going to be asked When the coaches knew, and, if they knew in advance, how Mullen let him play in the spring game. The girls got rape kits, which means it was quickly reported. Plus, he has two football player roommates. It seems impossible that UF and the coaches did not know about this a full week later.

Signing is one thing; from what I am seeing, keeping them is another. I'm not disagreeing with you on the need, I just don't think it can be done. I don't study college rosters, but i doubt there are many top 25 teams with even four scholarship QBs, willing to bet there's zero with five.

Right, but the more you worry you might lose the more you want to sign. I do agree it is hard to get two good QBs in one class but different programs sign two QBs every year.

Or smaller FCS school. Terry Bowden took all these kids when he was at N AL.

I always thought if I was coaching at a small school I might take all the throw aways...Even at a school like Liberty but I would cut them no slack. A true "Last Chance U"

He's from Richmond and they have a solid FCS program. In fact, there's quite a few in Virginia (Richmond, James Madison, William & Mary, Norfolk State).

So Jalon forced his transfer portal onto 2 women? - Would that be the QB sneak or the Statue of Puberty play?

Hard to kick a kid out of school based on two girls NOT pressing charges. Seems like Mullen is doing the most he can.

Based on Callaway, a Title IX, if pursued by the girls, would probably take longer than time left in the semester.

I have heard but can't confirm that they have sped up the process since Callaway.

Failure to succeed at that is not a typical problem a teenager boy has. Stop projecting.
My point is he lost his scholarship, potentially has criminal liability, will be playing next year at SE Kansas Comm Coll, has his name on the frontpages of CNN and Fox..... and he still had to spank the monkey at the end of the night.

If only he hadnt been a scumbag.

And he did what exactly when he was put in? About as much as Justin Fields in the 4th down and 11 fake field goal attempt.
explain how any of that makes any difference at all. He's 2nd string. It's just the way it is.
