Mike White gets a nod too.

"Recommendation: Bobby Hurley or Mike White (if not Billy Donovan).

I think both of these guys are attainable and would have success. They've done well the last few years in terms of NCAA tournament appearances, but they could also be interested in a move. That said, if there's any chance Donovan leaves the Thunder for college, he's the obvious hire for Michigan.

Prediction: Billy Donovan.

The buzz continues to grow that Donovan would be interested in a return to college coaching -- and this would be his best opportunity over the next year or two. It would make a lot of sense for both sides."

Who will be the top candidates in Michigan coaching search?

How stupid can the Meatchickens be to pursue Mike White as a HC. Don't they read these boards to know how incompetent he is?

Sounds about right. He's year to year at Okie. Might as well. Great hire if they get him.

I highly recommend White.

I wonder if they need an AD and an AD "Emeritus" also?

Because he left us only to come back to coaching college a few years later. Wtf
He was promised a totally revamped basketball facilities when extended his contract after he took us to the NC game in 2000 or whenever that was.

Fooley of course was lying as usual and didnt actually finish removing the tent over the Odome until after Billy D finally left.

Yeah, I'm not getting any Donovan hate regardless of what he does. Aside from not playing here, he's basically our basketball version of Spurrier. Did wonders for us as a program, established us as a real BB power, gave it a shot in the pros, and is now looking to possibly reenter the college game. If anything, I'd consider UM a positive considering I've seen his name mentioned for the UK job when/if it opens, which would definitely hurt. The chances that he ever affects us while in Ann Arbor are pretty small.

Because Foley was too busy spending on Football facilities at the time.
