Terry Bowden is taking an unpaid intern job at Clemson. At 63 years old, he seems a little long in the tooth for this gig. I can’t imagine being the coffee refill boy for guys half his age will be much fun. Is he hard up for money and looking to parlay this into one last shot at a high paid coordinator or HC role? Also, the bigger question is how much worse (exponentially) will the cheating at Clemson get with this known fraudster now on the staff? Discuss.

Terry Bowden to assist Clemson staff as intern

Good point Coach. I forgot to pose this question in my original post. How much higher in dollars & cents will Clemson’s “food for the staff” budget be with Bowden on staff compared to last year? I’m guessing Terry will singlehandedly cause a 25% increase.

Still remember Spurrier losing his first 2 meetings to the guy. 2 games we really gave away. 93-94 Spurrier only lost to Bowdens, that sucked. Old ball coach got his revenge on father and son in the next several meetings though.

Yeah, I remember those Auburn losses like they were yesterday. ‘93 really stung. Despite shooting ourselves in the foot, we had a comfortable lead at halftime and looked like we’d finally settled down and would cruise to an easy win. Instead we gave the game away with more stupid mistakes in the 2nd half.

To this day, I despise Auburn almost as much as I hate FSU & UGA. Auburn has ruined or greatly dampened many of our seasons. In addition to ‘93 & ‘94, throw in 2001 & 2006. While we won the ‘06 NC, they still cost us an undefeated year. There were some other bad losses to them after 2006 that may not have cost us a title but painful losses nonetheless that I’d just assume forget.

Wait? It's possible Terry's gotten juiced thinking how flat-faced Wiltee's gonna fall and FSU will need a cheap and unfettered replacement. Thus, it's an estimate of how ruinous Taggart's gonna be.

Don’t forget in ‘94 terry openly admitted to calling daddy at halftime to ask for advice. Maybe there’s no rule against that, but how does a head coach accept a “win” when he had to reach outside the organization for help during the game?

Simple...he’s a Bowden, which means he has no shame when it comes to winning football games.

Oh, I know... just talking about average people who possess a normal moral compass... which just highlights the difference between the bowdens and average people.
