If it is investing it is making money not say doing good. Not that I am opposed to doing good, but I keep it seperate from making money.

Interesting article on the front page of the WSJ earlier this week. Some large pension funds are starting to dump socially responsible investments because they haven’t performed up to par. The primary responsibility of the pension funds is NOT to save the planet. The funds have an obligation to invest appropriately so as to generate sufficient returns for the participants. CALPERS was one of the funds that was mentioned.
