I shop Walmart for certain grocery items because, well many items are the same as at other stores but cost in some instances 2/3 what they cost at say Publix. I have to admit it seems at least 50% of the shoppers as well as the people that work there speak a first language other than english.
Then there's this.

Unless you have a lot of money and don't mind spending it, go for the best value. Publix has some stuff that others don't.

I avoid that place like the plague. Venture in one about once every 5 years and then head straight home for a shower.

I now use about half those wipes they keep at the entrance coming and going.

They re-use those from the trash bin placed next to them.

Hell, haven't you seen what Ox can do to a kid's Tonka truck?

I frequent one that looks like extras from Deliverance shop there. It is always eye opening.

Honestly, it is a freak show every where I go. Macy's, Target, Walmart, everywhere. And it was worse in Cali when I was there last. It's just a freak show out there. You just get more of the ice cream licker and less of the morbidly obese driving golf carts.

We need truly club grocery and other retail shops. Where membership is restricted.

Where the real stupidity comes in is making a video with a full face shot and posting it on line..

Iguess she doesn't realize what she did there is a felony...

On a side note, we've used the Walmart grocery app a few times and loved it. Shop and pay online, set a pickup, pull in, and they load it into your car. Saves us from impulse shopping and saves money. I can't let dudes just put stuff in while I sit though so I always help.

My wife told me recently that girl is reportedly facing 20 years for that felony. I doubt she gets that, but I’ll bet even 30 days in the local jail will be enough to recalibrate her future life decisions... and hopefully a few others who were thinking it was funny enough to try it, too.

Happened to be in a Walmart this weekend. I don’t like the lowest common denominator feel of the place.
Not to mention that you can almost smell the Chinese child labor sweat in the products.

Thankfully very few Wally World’s in the NW. None even remotely close to where we live.
We do have our own alternative version though, it’s called Fred Meyer.

The "People of Wal-mart" goes through my head, and I imagine the type of people that fill the category....everytime I go in there, which is about 1-2 times/month for whatever, not usually groceries.

Where are you going to go to avoid that?

Think they are paying more at the Nike Factories? Or anywhere else?
