I know , I know a little early to even be talking about this and I have had a couple of Crown and cokes butttttt. He will be in a position to put up the numbers, I think the Gators will be in a lot of close games with a chance for him to put heisman type numbers, it all starts in about four days, Go Gators!

Technically, quite a few players "can" win the Heisman. Will he? No. I think he'll have a great season, but he's not Heisman good.

To win a Heisman in DM's offense, you have to be exceptional at running the ball. Franks isn't for a variety of reasons beginning with his length.

Can he? Yes. Will he? Even I will say not likely.

However, I think he can win with the help of those around him. If he puts up an average of 50 yards rushing a game with 250 passing (I think we could get 150+ yac a game easy) it might put him up there if we have a one loss at most record going into December.

Edit: Trying to keep my post brief for everyone ;)

Moving past all the "can" he vs. "will" he...

I think it is very unlikely that Franks is going to be able to put up the type of numbers necessary to win the Heisman. It would require some of the current "favorites" to have a down season as well as Franks to have an amazing season.

Franks is a serviceable runner, but not dynamic like Tebow or Cam, so I don't think he can put up the type of numbers necessary to gain front runner votes.

As long as Trevor Lawrence isn’t in a body cast and Tua isn’t on crutches...no

No. Doesn’t mean we couldn’t have an all SEC 2nd or 3rd team type year but he’s not Heisman good nor does he have an OL good enough to enable him to get there. Tua, with his talent and OL advantages, will almost assuredly fair better this year then any SEC QB.

Awesome that you’d had a couple of drinks by 4:13pm, but, in short, no.

No. We would have to go undefeated and him be lighting every body up. I’ll take wins but he’ll still have the same numbers from last year with hopefully the play actually matching the numbers. To many other guys will be flashier.

Be Honest, how many people thought Danny Wuerffel would win the Heisman the year before he won it? Anything is possible...Will he? I don't know.
