We better stay hydrated.
Probably won’t be as raucous an atmosphere as a 7pm or 330pm start.
Cant take Tennessee lightly. Anything can happen in SEC play.

Name and town if you wish to opine.

What a terrible development. Noon game in September is enough to make me stay on my lazy boy and drink my own sodas and put my arms aroma wife and kids after the 3rd quarter and sway back and forth singing “We are the boys” in 70 perfectly air conditioned degrees

Doesn't the TV slot determine the starting time

It's not as hot at Noon as it is at 3:30, although the alumni side gets in the shade quicker. The student side is in the sun until very late in the day. The agreement between the SEC, ESPN, CBS and the SEC Network requires all schools to abide by the way start times are determined. I don't think there's a lot of leeway for an AD to refuse to accept an assigned start time without jeopardizing their shared revenue at the end of the season. In any event, back in the 60's and 70's, almost all start times were at 1 pm and very few Gator games were on TV. So you either went to the game or listened on the radio. I've been to a ton of games in my lifetime, but don't go hardly at all anymore. Would just rather sit in my recliner and watch the big screen from noon to midnight. At least with a noon start people can get home in time to watch football the rest of the day. Doesn't do any good to complain anyway. Money talks.

Well this says it all about Tinerc and how the networks feel about them. This game has been relegated to an ARKY-VANDY matchup game time.

My biggest concern with these games is the heavy drinking at 10 in the morning. It's tough to explain. You know, some of us have kids that we're trying to set an example for.

But as was said, even though it's basically the same as the 3:30 slot in terms of temp at this point in the year, it's the perception that it's a nothing game(because of ut) that makes it frustrating.

I have found UF football to be tolerable only when heavy drinking is involved...at least for the last several years...therefore time has no meaning...

There are two teams on the field.....

I am completely aware that it takes two to tango, but we are playing an unranked UK team in prime time this weekend, whose fan base finds football a waiting room until Basketball starts. Trust me I know b/c I am from that state. I am certainly not saying we are deserving or not deserving of a better slot and happen to think we are a bit overranked, but Tinerc at Noon is clearly about Tinerc IMO.

I'm thinking of going on an all-night binge Friday night so I can just coast through the noon slot. Not ideal, but sometimes just the price you have to pay to be a good parent.

My kids are older and I’ve already disappointed them so they know the drill...
