An AU family near us had cotton stuffed in their ears (section 14) By the 4th quarter my voice was almost gone. Even my daughter (senior, maybe soon a Gator) is exhausted today.

Awesome how the crowd reacts a little to the initial broken tackle and then goes insane after the second one that sprung Perine for the TD.

BTW, that ref has solid backpedaling skills and breakaway speed! Does he have any eligibility left?
There was another view I saw last night--I think it was on SEC Network---a network camera view from high in the endzone view so the play was coming at us. You are correct, the ref was smoking down the sideline--almost keeping up with Perrine. Impressive angle on the play and really shows both the play and just how fast the ref was. Striped dude has a set of wheels on him!

Bernie used to write porn, specifically rape fantasy stuff, before he became a bum, and then became a politician.
Googled it, so I get it now. Bern wasn't (hopefully) relevant in the race before, but now that his ticker is acting up he should be done. Electing any 78-yr-old (or 74-77 yr-old) is a poor idea.

Especially when they are a complete nutjob.
Yep. Unfortunately, there are a couple other absolute nutjobs in the picture (including, of course, the incumbent).

If nothing else, hopefully everyone agrees that septuagenarians who show signs of losing a step should not be leading this country. Damn it, that kind of person shouldn't be leading the houses of Congress either, but we get what we deserve sometimes.

Thanks @ufgator812 That song from the old Cotton commercials is now soundly entrenched in my head. "The touch . . . the feel . . . the fabric of our lives"

From the Cliff Clavin part of me: the scientific name for having a song stuck in your head is "involuntary musical imagery," and is abbreviated to INMI.

Apologies for letting the Cliffy out. I can barely stand myself sometimes.

Was there last night Sec. 21. We made the trip home today and kinda felt like we actually played in the game. The 90K definitely gave it their all. Best atmosphere in the SWAMP in a long time. Crowd definitely affected the Auburn offense. It was a wonderful weekend. See you guys for FSU!

Just got back to Virginia from Jax a couple of hours ago. An old Gator pal has two seats in Section 21 and I try to make at least one game a year. I penciled this one as a 5 star match up early. The stadium and fans were unbelievable and definitely helped win that game. Being in the end zones are a unique place to create noise. Whenever AU came our direction we had a special wall of sound waiting for them . Like most we stood the entire game and had a hell of a lot of fun. My hand hurts from high- fiving , my voice is shot and I am sure I have some hearing loss. But the whole show and the win was worth it. Best moment was watching Number 2 bounce outside and dance down the sideline.

Fantastic game atmosphere. Proud of the fans that showed up and cheered their a$$es off the entire game!

Mrs G and I were in the lower level of south end zone (Section F, last row) and the noise was insane. The TD by Swain really set the tone and killed any chance for Auburn to take the crowd out of it. As I mentioned in the recruiting thread, my ears were ringing for a while after the game and my voice is just now getting back to normal. There was also very little sitting in our section during live play.

This may have been the loudest single moment and was pretty much it for my voice. A group of us went to Bally Hoo after the game and a buddy asked the table to name their favorite moment. This play was the consensus until I said it was my second favorite moment. My favorite moment was the crowd going nuts when Trask came back on the field from the locker room after getting hurt. I thought that was really cool and got a lot of nods around the table - can only imagine how it made Trask feel.
I saw a lot of empty student seats up high in the center well after kickoff. Nevertheless, I'm sure it was loud.

Let's get Auburn back on the rotation.
From my vantage point it was tough to see a lot of the stands, though I too saw that empty area in the student section. There were also a fair bit of unoccupied seats in the middle and upper decks of the North end zone. Overall I thought the stadium was pretty close to full by kickoff. It sure sounded like it.
So I could make it to some of Game Day, I got up at 3:45 and left home almost right at 5 and got into to Gainesville around 10. As exhausting as that was (plus the drive back this afternoon), it was totally worth it.
