Great job Cover2. I most loved the pun via pictures:

:trux:

I think a game ball needs to go to coach boom for driving the field running down our throats and then passing in the red zone.

So true and ironic for Chump. We see this all the time though in honor of the worship of balance. Something works an entire drive, only for coaches to completely change in the redzone to trip up the other team. Yes, the defense is more constricted there but they were pushing us around that drive and would have taken the lead by 7 instead of three if they run theee Times.

Best part was the post-sack Muschamp panic. After not running on first from the 6, they then ran twice in a row from the 15. Fans must have been thrilled. Each successive call from first and goal was worse than the prior call.

Pierce run was blatant holding by Cleveland, but we'll take it.

Watching that POS Duncechump melt down was most enjoyable.

It aint holding unless the defender tries to get away from him. The defender just ran down the field with him and never tried to separate. Plus, the defender was pulling Cleveland's facemask the whole way down the field at the same time.

Plus-maybe, since the DB did not swing his arm to break loose Cleveland's grip, he prolly did not feel it, hence it did not impede him.
PS >> DM will probly have the WRs practicing that. Also, if a WR hid in his helmet a "yellow flag", then threw it on his route : those referees Saturday would have huddled and then called something.

At times it wasn't pretty.

One last gift for McElroy and any Gator haters who might be disappointed after we disposed of the 'Cocks...

Go Gators!
:chomp:

You're right. It wasn't pretty but that doesn't matter. I feel the game turned when dumbass passed on 1st and goal after they had gouged us down the field. Momentum turned at that point and we held them to 3. They Chumped it right there. Had us on the roped and choked. Sound familiar?

We find out in 2 weeks if we have truly turned a corner.

And we desperately need some d linemen in recruiting.

d line is slowly getting together. Jaelin humphries will be playing as a redshirt freshman next year and DTs Goods, Dexter, Brown, and likely Tim Smith will help add depth. Bogle and Diabate are still light but they’re getting reps. Bogle getting a ton of work this year. Summerall will gain weight and Powell will add DE depth, which is already decent. And Grenard has another year of eligibility, correct? If the newbies coming in grow up quick we’ll be getting more solid at d line over the next couple years as long as we don’t suffer attrition thru injury, grades or stupid behavior.

cleve’s “block” was a great advert for our s and c program. He held that guy up like a marionette and ran right down the field like he had a dog on a leash.

If Greenard does not go to the NFL (a big "if" based on his performance this season), he would need a waiver to play another season. He took red shirt his first year and played his second and third. On the first play of his fourth year at Louisville (as a redshirt junior) he was injured and lost for the season. He then transferred to UF. So while he is technically a red shirt senior eligibility wise, there is a scenario where he could play next year for the Gators. I doubt we will find out if he'd get a waiver.

Why would he wait? Dude is going to get drafted for sure. Maybe second or third round. That’s good money. Wouldn’t hate him for taking it.

Greenard is projected to go in the 1st round. Diabate is way too light to be playing right now. He looked terrible on Saturday. Let's be real and say that our d line is in trouble next yr.

Yeah I don’t expect grenard to be here but just wanted to know if there’s some kind of chance...

Cox will help some when he starts playing but we’ll take our lumps on defense next year because of youth and inexperience at all positions. but if dan adds one or two more defensive linemen and a safety then that 2020 class will grow up together as a team unit and likely be pretty solid going into 2021 with more guys filling out the positional depth behind them.

bogle and diabate are both too light to be playing much right now but the experience will help down the road along with some healthy weight gain. Our new dbs have shown promise and their experience along with that of the guys I mentioned above will be telling.

with so many guys leaving, 2020 is gonna be tough for the defense but there are good things on the horizon. Especially if guys like smith, Williams and hopefully black come on board.

After watching the game replay, one play stood out = Trask's pass to Swain's diving catch. IMO, Swain ran his route to the "throw-to spot" at about the 8 yard line, where he was sort of entangled with the DB. Instantly, Trask assessed, and threw towards the goal line, thinking either it's a throw-away or Swain will see and go catch it. If that's really what transpired, then Trask performed some quick nimble mentation and Swain is well in tune with his QB. Happy days, happy plays.

After the game, another fine event was the team going over to sing "We are the boys" with the band and the traveled fans.
We just have to shut down the bulldogs to stay on this euphoric trajectory. Really need Z & G back at 100%. Toney too. Too much to hope for?
