MT, you're my favorite poster, but this team is NOT on the right track. Recruiting is in the toilet and things are going to get worse next year, not better.

We've played 2 really big games and the coaching has been atrocious in both of them.

Obviously Mullen isn't getting fired but he should be, as we're only postponing the inevitable. Mullen will never win a title of any kind at UF.

Recruiting and defense. Make improvements there, we do well going forward. Don’t? CDM won’t last. Really need to fire Knox too. I know Mullen won’t but STs produces nothing and the RBs are average - any RB coach can do that but most can also recruit.

This thread should’ve waited until the offseason when Mullen refuses to fire Know, English, or Grantham.

Sadly, I think we're stuck with Danny Boy for the foreseeable future. He'll win enough to keep the pitchforks at bay and allow the UAA to focus all their time and attention on the baseball's, softball's and basketball's of the program. The fact that we're still not close to breaking ground on the all in one just reinforces that we just aren't committed to winning anymore. It is what it is.

This is on Mullen, plain & simple. Grantham sucked balls today, as he has on several previous occasions, but 1) Mullen is the head coach who hired these bozos and 2) the offense (Mullen’s speciality) and the offensive game plan sucked just as bad, if not worse, than the defense.

We won’t win squat with Mullen running the show unless he has a major epiphany and makes serious changes to his style and his staff.

Dan Mullen. We need to shake-up our assistant coaching staff though. Grantham isn’t worth the money. He’s been all-world against 3rd world talent, but sucks against the big boys. Also, English can go with him. Our safeties have regressed.
