It should probably be a one loss Bama team but I could see them putting either Utah or especially Oregon in if they win out

A 1 loss Oregon or Utah would be my guess. Bama sure as hell shouldn't go with a lone good win against a likely 8-4 Auburn team and no conference championship. A 1 loss Big 12 champ should go over Bama also.

AP Top 25 Poll

Gators drop a spot to 11

Minnesota vaults all the way up to 7

UGly somehow climbs one spot

Bama drops to 4 (from 2)

Penn State still inside the top 10 at 9

lol

Disclaimer: I know that the CFP poll is really all that matters but seriously wtf

A one loss Big 12 or PAC 12 champ gets the nod, I think. It's also possible (if unlikely) that Baylor will go undefeated.

We’re the highest ranked 2 loss teams and still above undefeated Baylor and a bunch of other 1 loss teams. Seems about right. The 1 loss teams above us are Bama, UGAy, Oregon, Utah, PoSU and Oklahoma. Can’t make much of a case to be ranked above any of them.

I tend to agree with that. A lot of games still to be played also.

I think they would put Barn ahead of us if they beat the Dawgs this weekend. I'm also assuming we get by Mizzou, which hasn't been easy for us.

It's like I said the only way we would even get into the playoffs was winning out and avenging a loss to LSU cause Alabama will probably get in cause they are Alabama. But we don't have to worry about that since we let Georgia make fools of us again.

Now that Minnesota is in the top 10 I think they will become the darling of the pollsters and move up, as long as they win of course.

Do y'all think they would let a 2 loss SEC champion Dawg team in? They would have a terrible loss to the Cocks and the other would be Barn I'm assuming. I think if they lose to Barn, they're pretty much shutout unless a lot of teams lose ahead of them.

They'd go over any other 2 loss team I'm sure, but not over a 1 loss P5 conference champ.

You have UGay that high?

Idk man. I think 5-10 is a total mess

The committee is gonna have a giant headache trying to figure out who #4 is this year

Yep GA is where they should be now imo. I think the only argument should be is who goes if both the PAC 12 and Big 12 have 1 loss champions.

I think there's a 0% chance they get by LSU so I don't think it matters

If the Dawgs get that run game going against their swiss cheese defense, it'll be too close for comfort I'm afraid. That's really the key to that game, if Lsu can slow down their run game like we did, Fromm won't be able to pick up the slack against their defense like he did against ours.
