He's worth at least a free Sunday dinner at Commander's Palace and all the Dixie beer he can handle. The guy's good, of that there can be no doubt. He's on film now and that will soften his impact going forward. But he's done well with the cast he has to use. He's made Burrow a fortune and credit to Joe for having a little talent to go along with the coachability.

Great observation C2. Say what you will about Ogre, but recruiting is the least of his flaws. Couple that with Brady’s coaching Acumen and it could mean hard times for some folks. And that sucks because I live amongst this bunch of retards who can’t pronounce “College“, nor have they ever enrolled in same.

I have been expecting Brady to take a HC offer at the end of this year. But if the guy is happy being an assistant at LSU... uh oh. They have always been able to grow defensive players over there without any problem. Add a potent offensive attack every year, and they will be a serious force going forward. I would imagine a lot of premier offensive players can envision themselves playing in that offense. I don't think Ogre is going anywhere anytime soon, so you know he will be reeling in plenty of those recruits to Baton Rouge. If they win it all this year, Ogre will coach there til he dies, and half the streets in the state will be named after him.

I have honestly enjoyed watching their transformation this year (except for our loss, of course). Was really hoping we could rematch them in Atlanta. But if we can't win it all, I hope they do. I am kinda tired of watching Clemson and OSU have an entire season of warm-up games, and I want to see little Nicky Satan dethroned.

Not sure if he would make more as a HC now as most schools that might offer him will be the Central Arkansas type. Reminds me of when Malzan first came around. Will he go somewhere and wait for Ogre to get fired and come back?

He can probably make 3-4 times that much as a HC. Really think that schools will go after him hard.

I don't know... I think because the transformation of LSU's offense has been so effective, coupled together with his experience in the NFL, would maybe cause some of the bigger programs to go after him. Who knows? LSU may be wrapping up his deal as an assistant, but I won't be surprised to see him leave if/when a college HC, or NFL OC offer comes along.

Curious to see if this goes down. He could hold out and possibly get a bigger deal. But he's not getting more than $1.5 million from a college program, unless it's to be a head coach.
