That look you have when asked in a press conference why you were at the Pi Kappa Phi house at 2 AM less than 48 hours before your biggest game of the season against Tennessee.

Anybody know any Pi Kappa Phi brothers (or any brothers on this board) that were there that night? Would love to hear some inside scoop.

We're getting better and better.
We're going to get it corrected.

That may be the best of them all. In one picture you see a guy with a sense of humor who’d probably be a blast to have a few beers with, while also feeling supremely embarrassed and knowing that any second now your phone is going to light up with somebody busting your chops about what they just saw, leaving you with a pit in your stomach about how you were going to spin this and just really wishing none of this had ever happened and could quickly go away.

Yep. That pic is Zook in a nutshell.

Ox. ****, bitch, and **** all turn into asterisks on this board. Can you please make that happen for that coach who I will not name? It is after all a four letter word

Thx.

Conversely, I remember sitting in the stands at Joke wondering how this buffoon pulled off the upset when a significantly better coach in Spurrier never could. Life’s not fair.

Yep I still cant believe that game that ended in a tie there. Punk move by Bowden not to go for 2 also. Reminded me of Pat Tie...

GAWD, I just threw up just thinking about Zook's time at UF. We've had some doozies in recent years but for some reason I hate Zook the Most!! Never liked him when he was an ASSistant. He always seemed to be the guy that wanted to be the life of the party but was such an asshat, everyone kinda blew it off saying, geez, wtf.

Kuby was the Zook Dick Dangler. He was the Slevin of the day. Always excuses for how bad the coach was.
How could I have forgotten that Kuby was a Ron Zook sympathizer along with his stupid ass friends like hunchback or whatever he called himself when they called themselves the round table? They sure were some dumb mother F***ers.

Never understood the hate for Zook. I hated his product and I hated the opportunity to continue what Spurrier established was squandered but the guy gave everything he had he just sucked. Couple of former players I know always liked zook and even muschamp. I was pissed at zook for losing to miss state his last year but actually felt sorry for the guy as he was just in over his head ans was dumbfounded in the press conference over the loss.

Mac on the other hand was a douche and even had people in thr program rooting against him so he could get kicked to the curb. Heard he didn't allow or encourage players and coaches families to be around the program and was an arrogant douche.

I'm sure I'll get **** on for that stance but I expect it

Zook wasn’t the first idiot to take a job making millions a year that he had no business having, nor will he be the last.

Hell, he wasn’t the last to do so in the past twenty years just at UF. Thanks, Foley.

Zook: Nice guy, over his head. Team won games in spite of him.
Chump: $@&*###%)(##@%##
Mac: Supreme arrogance to a blubbering shell begging to be fired.

A little off topic, but....if anyone listens to Tate Casey’s podcast, he has Chris Leak on this past week and has had Percy, Ahmad Black, Spikes, and other members of Meyer’s UF teams on at different times this season.

This past week he really delved into the S&C program that Mickey Marotti brought with him when Meyer took the job. They basically alluded to Zook’s teams being soft like Butters’ teams, and that those initial “winter workouts” broke several players that weren’t used to busting their asses in the gym.

I know when ltraz reads this, he’ll probably have a stroke and say the opposite, since he was around during the Zook years and has a man crush on the guy, but it made sense when comparing the two eras.

They also both said that Savage has had a similar effect in weeding out the lazy, soft ass Butters specials from the past regime.

I just remember the players looked strong and Zook could bench like 435 or some weight like that when he first took over despite his age.

You cant cant hate two terrible coaches?

I don't like things about muschamp but by all accounts his players and alumni players genuinely liked the guy. Zook was the same. I hated the results. I never needed to trash them on top of their own failures. Maybe champ a little as he tried to steal recruits on the way out....

Mclwein on the other hand I hope to see fail everywhere he goes for many reasons starting with that abortion of a strength and conditioning program among. Total neglect of the program.

Who cares if the players liked him? That’s not a requirement for leadership. It’s a nice side benefit if it happens but plenty of jerks make good leaders. I’m sure all those tide kids don’t love Saban other than the money they end up making after he gets them to the nfl. Belicheat seems like a total d bag most of the time but players want to be on that team - almost assured a ring at some point.
