The sources have been contradictory. That is the way reporting is. The fsu search is the same way. One beat writer reports one thing. Another reports the opposite.

I would be very surprised if Franklin took the FSU job. It's worse than PSU in every possible way.

Doubt it. He could wait one more year and get a look at the USC job then...while having a much better situation for the next 12 months.

I’d be a lot more concerned if he had any sort of ties but there aren’t any I’m aware of.
